@Goldfinger, here are a few rule questions for you, please:

1) Is it one pause up to 7 days long per stage, or multiple pauses totalling not more than 7 days total (such as 7 one day pauses)?

2) Can a team's Sub and GunBoat player split the two GunBoat games so that the sub gets to play? If so, can that sub/Gunboat player still fill in for another game in that same stage if/when needed? Similarly, can another team member, such as the FP player pick up a CD from one of the other games, instead of looking for another alternate?

3) The rules page says that if a 6th team member is needed to replace a CD, that new player's GR ranking must be lower than the player's being replace. Could we cap that at a GR of #n (say 500), since the pool of available alternates beyond a certain GR ranking may be hard to find?

4) I assume the team Captain can give pre-game coaching strategy, such as "play for a draw here". May the team captain also give general coaching team strategy as a stage is in play and some results start coming in? May the Captain also follow individual games and give specific in-game coaching to team members during their games?

Sure,

1) One pause up to 7 days long per stage. Multiple pauses are something I would wish to avoid

2) I would prefer no in both of these situations. In the 2012 World Cup, The Hanged Man only replaced Mujus as a last resort. A sub is what he is, and as such should not expect to play in the tournament, but be able to finish out the game if called upon. So, I would say "No" and "Only as a secondary option"

3) So, this may be poorly worded, and I'll go through it and edit it. But the intent here is "Don't replace someone with a guy who is better than him" For example, should Yoyoyozo have to drop out, don't replace him with peterwiggan.

4) "Captain" doesn't have all that much in terms of responsibilities besides being the person I go to if something is going wrong. I fully encourage ALL team members to follow each others' games and offer strategy tips. Most of the teams in the past world cup did this.
