I'd be more than happy to have a GM for when I'm not available, to handle any concerns, in the way that HR and y2k operated M8 and M9, respectively.

I actually spoke to a small number of people about this but they either were much more keen on playing (rather than GMing) or being a lead-GM and leading on their own story/ideas, and I already had my ideas for M12.

But if someone wants to be a standby-GM and soundboard for all things GM-related that would really be useful, teamwork is always good.

@Espi: I know you said you might be unable to commit to fully to playing the game itself over the next month; would you want to be this co-GM role?

Yes, I meant a co-GM as in M7/8/9, rather than the joint lead GM'ing of MX.

I wasn't sure I'd need one but it was really handy to have RagingIke around because there were one or two times when I just wasn't available; and I'd expect the same would be true of just about everyone.

Bo, your GMing was great. Made my job a lot easier as cop. ;)

Another reason that I choose the 3 week start date was to give me a 2/3 week period where I knew I'd mostly be around home and available the nights needed for phases.

But I'd be more than happy to have a back-up co-GM. Everyone I spoke to about my theme seemed to suddenly want to play M12 rather than help GM it!

I'll consult with some Oracles and report back on the co-GM status, thanks guys.

I also recommend co-GM'ing to new people who are considering playing here - it's a great way to get into it without being pressured and feeling overwhelmed.
