To the primary point of the post: It is always tragic when a human being stops...I get the point....but sometimes it is absolutely necessary for the greater good of all. Stopping that one human being may save countless others, and therefore by any rational philosophy concerned about the good of humanity, it was a good thing.

Putin is one of the last standing communists....so, you have to understand, he's a little bitter about things not working out for him...ANYWHERE...Imagine openly professing loyalty to a form of government that has been an abject failure everywhere it was tried, and yet not being able to grasp that truth and change your mind.
