Playing with less than 7?
Does anyone know if we are able to play a game with less than 7 people? And if we can, does anyone know how we go about doing that? Our current game will only start if we have 7.

With a three wins to nil advantage, it's safe to say that the Australians will win back the Ashes. Hoorah !!!

just noticed this
"Hoorah !!! England's Cricket Team is in Australia for the Ashes Test Cricket Series"

is the name of this thread....I am wondering when did they arrive in Australia ...I'm pretty sure they havent turned up at all..

Well those members of the English Cricket team not facing criminal charges resulting from nightclub brawls back in the UK are in Australia. I think the main problems that England's Test Cricket team have are in batting, bowling and fielding to the standard needed to win over five day.

Next Test match... Melbourne starting on boxing day.

MM you nearly got it right .

BOWLING.
BATTING

It was shameful that Stokes wasn't on the tour. There was a time when he'd be getting a medal rather than being suspended. How he's been treated is a bloody disgrace.

England's problems are bowling in Australian conditions, and a crisis of confidence that this has caused. Batting is ok, fielding is ok. England will win the next test, but no-one will care.

Only Jimmy Anderson has consistently bowled well, imho. Woakes bowled beautifully in one innings in the Adelaide Test match, but too short in Brisbane and Perth, and couldn't get sideways movement with the ball. The English spin bowler has totally failed to deliver imho. So, yes the tourists biggest problem is their bowling attack.

Boxing day, the first day of the fourth Ashes Test Cricket match in Melbourne. England took three wickets & Australia batted & scored 240 odd runs with Warner scoring a century, out on about 104/105 runs.

Final (?) day of the MCG Test .. England first innings finished with 491 runs this morning, Cook 244 runs not out. A lead of 164 runs over Australia's first inninings. Australia now 2 out for 70 runs at lunch. ...so 94 runs to knock off, then blast a quick 200 odd runs, put England back in & bowl them out for about 140 & win... All in two sessions..? I think it'll be a draw

My mistake.. it's the fourth day of the Test match today..plenty of time to get a result.

Why cricket is even attempted in such a soggy country as Australia I'll never know.

Day five, Australia slowly wiping off the deficit.. 2 for 114 runs. Are England engaging in a bit of ball "conditioning" ? ( in their desperation). Warner has just made his slowest half century in Test Cricket.

Thanks to great batting by Steve Smith Australia's Test Cricket team managed to get a Draw & deny England's team the win. The last Test match of this Ashes series is in Sydney.
Octavious (2802 D)
30 Dec 17 UTC
The ball conditioning is a sign of a bored media with nothing new to talk about. A team might risk that sort of thing to win. No one risks it to lose slightly less badly.

So, the whitewash is gone. The Ashes have been gone for some time. Sydney is as dead as an Ashes game can get.

Sydney will hopefully have a better pitch than the dead track at the MCG. I'm a fan of the classic old style Adelaide oval cricket pitch. Good to bat on for the first three days, but with something in it for the quick on first, even second day, as long as they bowl a good length and put in an effort. Getting better for spin as you get closer to the fifth day. A pitch with something for everyone.. batsmen & bowlers of all types
MajorMitchell (1874 D)
31 Dec 17 UTC
New groundsman at the MCG..that was a poor pitch...just dead..so that's something to be fixed. Even the ghastly new drop in pitches now used at Adelaide oval are better than that MCG pitch.

Western Meddling in Iranian Protests
So this is great and all. Encouraging protests and stuff. Um didnt this happen in Iran in Arab Spring too? When people start dying were gonna look pretty bad again. Like we encouraged a coup but didnt actually care about the consequences.
