Here's mine, been waiting to post this for an hour.
Bo's EON Reads:
1.) Espi - null. I have gotten mixed vibes from him throughout the game. When I interrogate him, he comes off as scummy, but occasionally townslips. His vote on Balki was also a towntell, given that he could have jumped on a bandwagon that would have made his survival more likely but instead jumped on BB's to tie the vote. It seems to me that his intentions with that were fairly pure, but it could have simply been a poor decision. It's impossible to tell, and we need to keep on pressuring him and treat him as a suspect.
2.) guak - null. He has been somewhat quiet during the night, but that's not very telling with guak. I am unsure what to make of his bout yesterday with TrPrado, particularly because he said that Balki's case as scum (before the slip) rested on Tr flipping scum. Now that Balki turned town, I would like to see how the case against Tr adapts. Until then, most of the back-and-forth those two had on day 1 is tough to read.
3.) TrPrado - slight town. I graded him as slight scum in my last reads but that was a long time ago. Since then, he has contributed fairly consistently. I liked how he reacted when under pressure from guak and I think he had a fairly solid line of questioning for Espi simultaneously, something that mafia will rarely focus on while they are under potentially lynch pressure (keep in mind that the vote was Espi-4, guak-3, and Tr-3 at this time, with about an hour until the deadline).
4.) phil_a_s - slight scum. I just read ND's post on page 32 and he made some strong points against phil and how he seemed particularly interested in coaching from the sideline toward the end of day 1. While I feel that ND might be worried about making an OMGUS case on this matter, I'm not - phil, please answer to ND's case against you, preferably before the night ends but if not as soon as you can.
5.) ND - moderate town. He didn't contribute much early. I felt that he was coasting through much of day 1, but, as you might have guessed, I find his megapost on page 32 as fairly townie. The research into the mafia influence of M1 lynches in past games show that he's not afraid to throw his name into the fray, and my gut suggests that he wouldn't have taken this approach if he were terribly worried about whether or not he dies.
6.) bo_sox48 - still me.
7.) Yoyoyozo - moderate scum. I get being sick and fairly ineffective as a result, but I don't know that unvoting at the end of the day was because he didn't want to make a mistake. I would say that he could have unvoted in order to keep his name disassociated with a mislynch. The laziness and the coasting, though, worry me; even if you're sick, you can give it a fair shot. He never did. If he doesn't up his workload significantly on day 2, we need to talk about giving this guy the rope. (Also, for the record, I'm sick too, been hacking my brains out for a week now, so I hope we both get well soon.)
8.) DeathLlama9 - town. He has been towntelling and playing a town-friendly game in general. His vote to try to prevent a mafia-influenced tie vote like in M10 put the icing on the cake.
9.) americaslacker - null. In my analysis on him, I said that he played the dumb townie, and I still believe that, but that only matters if he actually shows up to play. I don't know where he is, but I'm not going to waste my time analyzing someone anymore who can't be bothered to play anyway, so he's a null until he contributes.
10.) Jeff Kuta - scum. See below.
11.) SaladinSmith - slight scum. I haven't seen a whole lot out of this guy since we were grilling him for his no-lynch/random-lynch/whatever plan on day 1. It seems like the attention has faded off of him in favor of others, which is fine, but the fact of the matter is that this guy hasn't done anything townie so far this game, and even though the only particularly scummy thing in my mind he's done was the vote at the end of the day, we shouldn't let him lurk freely. He has only posted once during the night as far as I remember.
12.) Balki - town.
13.) Lucland - slight scum. In the little we have seen of him, he's done nothing but tunnel on guak. Otherwise, he has done basically nothing, and keeps on anchoring by saying he's rereading. I don't know how long rereading takes, but I would appreciate it if he could catch up with the times.
Jeff Kuta -
Jeff is scum. I got a hell of a scummy reaction out of him before. It confirmed an annoying suspicion I have had since I skimmed over him at the beginning of the night.
Piece #1 - Jeff's latest reads
Page 32 - reads
"Espi: neutral
guak: neutral (downgrade from slight town)
TrPrado: slight scum
phil_a_s: slight town
ND: slight scum (downgrade from slight town)
bo_sox48: slight scum
Yoyoyozo: neutral (upgrade from slight scum)
DeathLlama9: slight town
americaslacker: neutral (policy lynch?)
Jeff Kuta: me
SaladinSmith: slight scum (downgrade from neutral)
Lucland: neutral (policy lynch?)"
Later on page 32, I ask him to clarify his reads with some explanations. He posts his clarifications on page 33 -
"guak: neutral (downgrade from slight town)
I think guak's recognition of the 'gotcha moment' got the better of him. Maybe he wanted another wagon because he felt the heat? I just really dislike those late day swings, and he started it.
ND: slight scum (downgrade from slight town)
One of the BB brigade.
Yoyoyozo: neutral (upgrade from slight scum)
I think Yoyo was legitimately in a bad state last night so he just bailed on contributing. Not a town-clear, but he didn't want to make a mistake.
SaladinSmith: slight scum (downgrade from neutral)
I just don't trust his late switch to Espi. Still seems suspicious to me."
I noticed that his explanation on ND could apply to two others - Espi and myself. I ask him about it here:
"So why doesn't the fact that I am also 'one of the BB brigade' make me scummier? How about Espi?"
He says this:
"@bo:
Downgrading bo to 'scum' from 'slight scum' for asking to be downgraded."
Here's the thing - I questioned Jeff. I came after him, not Espi, and as a result, he doesn't think to downgrade Espi, only me. He is more worried about making a point to me, so he alters his own reads in order to please me and to threaten me at the same time. In doing so, he completely forgets that I asked a two-part question. That's exactly how mafia thinks. It's about as scummy a thing you can do.
Piece #2 - Jeff's reaction to the mislynch
Jeff also reacted like this to the BB mislynch:
"Man, wtf? I hate when these stupid lynches come out of nowhere in the last minutes of the phase. We had TrPrado. And then guak switched to BB? WTF? Friggin' sheep."
If you pick apart mafia strategy, one of the things that comes up often is that mafia react strongly to scenarios that benefit them - and scenarios that thereby hurt the town. This is one of those. Does that reaction seem genuine? Not to me. It seems calculated and forced.
Moreover, Jeff was online at the deadline. He was online before it, too. While those of you that were online were debating between your candidates, Jeff was sitting by. We know this because, midway through page 26, he pushed his choice of TrPrado:
"I still think the case against TrPrado is stronger than Balki's supposed scumslip. I think Balki is being logical in the face of pressure. I just don't think he expected how virulently the town could be when they feel they are being duped by someone trying to earn cred. (…) I'm sticking with TrPrado."
TrPrado then asks:
"What about the case against me makes it so strong?"
Jeff doesn't respond. He comments elsewhere, saying that BB could force a tie by voting for guak, but he fails to even once address the TrPrado case even though the vote is so close. He simply sits idly by while the debate between BB, Espi, guak, and TrPrado rages, and then acts upset when the results come in and TrPrado lives.
This was a completely fake reaction. Go back and look at it in context; there's nothing to it.
If I'm dead in the coming minutes, please take a good look at Jeff. After that, don't forget my reads. They aren't worthless. If I'm alive, I hope to see a response shortly.
