I remember a while back - when I was ranked like 10 or 11 or something and I barely made it into the first game... THAT was an amazing crew... MM, TMG, Rait, Jacob, Ivo, and I think djbent and myself if memory serves...

How soon until the first game starts? I'm about to have 2 games get paused so I'm raring to go. I'll help contact people and do admin stuff if that is needed.

We can probably start sign-up tonight when I get home from work. We'll need long sign-up periods for people that can't start till Monday, as was originally agreed upon.

I'll volunteer to start my game as I'm sure beither of you will be in the lowlife's game that I'm in.

I just looked at fortknox to the end (me) and, except for martinck1 who has a minimum buy in of 150, you could make a game out of those 7 (move martin up to a higher game) and have full agreement on buy-in, turn length, type (WTA/PPSC), press, etc.

Another option is to have the top GR game at 300 pt (Give Crazyter the chance to ante up or drop to the middle), the middle game would be 150 and the third game would be 100.

well - i'd like to add my 2 cents abge for you to take under advisement...

I'd suggest first to start on the 9th as initially advertised... the thread promised a GR based game so if a player or two get knocked back into a 4th game, i'm sure others will join another game with them to fill up a 4th.

I also think game one's parameters should be finalized based on the maj of the first 7 players on the list as of now... then if one of those 7 does not accept the majority parameters, then the 8th person on the list gets the invite etc... after the 7 for the first game are confirmed... then the parameters for game 2 can be decided and players invited etc. make sense?

I was thinking along those lines. Since this is a GR game, the priority should be GR. That's why I was trying to get in contact w. MM to see if he'd be OK with 36 hours. I would, however, like to tentatively set up the games tonight so that on Monday we are ready to go instead of just setting up. For the last to days, the only action this thread has been getting is bumps, so I think everyone who is interested has stated so.

I don't think abgemacht intended on turning this into a mini league/tournament, so I'll help out however I can being as I will be at the bottom of the list pretty much no matter what.

Damn, this break of mine will never happen!! I wanted 24 hour phases since I have a couple games that will go into September anyway... I suppose I could do 36 hour phases, assuming everyone will give me a pause from Friday September 3rd through Sunday September 12th. BUT, it honestly won't hurt my feelings one bit if you just replace me in this set of GR Challenge games, I'm supposed to be enjoying the sunshine a bit more than I currently am! :-)

Well, that's not true, actually. It looks like every game as around 4 people that want 36+hours...

Maybe it would be better to prioritize by phase and then GR?
