I need help joining games

Hello Developer: The game won't let me join games. Why would that be? I log in correctly, even changed my password, logged out then back in, but when I try to join games the system tells me I am using an incorrect password.

Is there a different password for joining games??? Obviously I am using the corrrect password to sign in, otherwise this wouldn't be happening, so I am confused.

Shroedinger is spelled with an umlaut, so the more correct spelling is "oe"

If by HS you mean high school, then yes. I am okay with 64, although I would prefer a little less; I don't like to spend too many points on any one game, usually. I do like 1 day games. I don't know what you mean by "that resign [I] have"

Ummm I have a few resigns so before I'm interrogated.

I think one is a ragequit. But I play off a phone almost exclusively so sometimes weird shit happens.

Let's do it. I have 5 resigns but that is largely due to chronic live game playing which can get affected by things like phone dying (when you're playing from the bus), 3G connection getting messed up, people knocking on your door and asking you out awkwardly, etc.

Exactly. I play almost exclusively lives games as well. And my phone loses connection too.

@Abgemacht and Centurion - Schrodinger or Schroedinger, but not Shrodinger as Centurion spelled it the first time (go check, you misspelled it). He was missing a 'c'. That was the spelling issue I had. I know about the umlat. But you *missed a 'c'*

All of the parameters are fine by me. The one resign I have was because I was playing, and all of the other players started to gang up on me. The decision would have made more sense if you were actually playing the game, but it was necessary.

Resigning is never necessary. Play to the bitter end or just continue to issue holds. there is no reason for a resign just because your getting your ass handed to you on a garbage can lid.

P.S. I make ti a habit to not play with people who have resigned cause they were losing. It's one thing to have a network failure or an emergency cost you the ability to get on, and another to just quit. so if Jodabomb is in, I'm out. I'm not changing my policy when he admits he just quit cause he was getting killed.

That's actually one of the only answers I wouldn't find acceptable. If you promise not to CD, and nobody objects, I don't mind if you join. You should realize, however, that CDing is considered very poor form, especially if you do it because you are losing.

Probally should have been in the developers thread.....

It would be similar to something similar to the facebook mobile notifications. A way for people without mobile internet to stay connected. Anyone with more knowlege about the plausibility of this should share their opinion.

World Diplomacy order entering buggage

As the leader of the Ghanaian contingent in this game, I have found that I am unable to properly enter movement orders. The browser freezes and the game interface does not accept the move. I shall give more details in the subsequent reply.

The Swearing Thread

Vatican, Women and child abuse

I was just curious what people thought about the Vatican labeled attempted ordaining of a woman the same as child abuse. Do people support this move?

There has been a huge outcry, does anyone think it will cause the Vatican to reverse that ruling?

I just won a major poker satellite tournament!

1st place out of 94 players on ClubWPT! I won an entry into the final tournament for a spot at a Poker BootCamp session in Vegas later this year. That'll be the tough one with about 1500 people playing for that seat. Woot!

Errr...could somebody tell me about rules here except basic game rules? I mean , for example, I am not able to get online everyday and what if game still unfinished? how do you guys handle it? are there any other rules as such?
