@Blades
that was mocking brainbomb who said:
"Every single one of them from the most moderate to most red secretly wants him gine-silenced-dead. They hate him. They hate everyone who dislikes anything at all about america. Theyre deeply entrenched in lunacy and would love to deport anyone dissatisfied with America. Hell they even want people who LOVE america gone: mexicans"
i was hoping, given that was the immediate following post, people would pick up on that. it seemed clear, to me at least, that the faux hatred was an obvious imitation of brain bomb's view of small-gov conservatives.
"I wanna also point out that yanik has chosen police killing black men as an example of why there isnt systemic racism in law enforcement."
no, i'm saying that if the entire system WERE systemically racist, then we'd expect a MUCH HIGHER rate.
"Even though incidents of African Americans being pulled over is disproportiinately higher in every state."

and in 2001, black drivers speed at twice the rate of white drivers in new jersey, a study found. this was snot based on arrests, but actual admissions of guilt too. in 2013, the national institute of justice found that 3/4 black people admitted to a legitimate reason when being arrested. even assuming 1/4 are ALL racist (which is entirely unfounded) then that STILL is disproportionately high.

also, the rates are skewed by the number of outstanding warrants by race, of which there are a lot higher rates by black people. most of these warrants are done by local, and very often black, people reporting someone for a crime.
"Incidents of Black men being imprisoned is disproportiinately higher as well."
i addressed this in my last post.
"So basically yanik took the most salicious and contentious peice of evidence for racism and he pretty much white washed all other pertinent examples to present the black community that feels targeted and suppressed as actually just being a bunch of angry fools with no cause for their plight.
Brilliant. Some seriously weak arguments there."
1. stop strawmanning, take this seriously.
2. i didn't "White wash" other examples, I PROVIDED DATA!!!
I've provided sources throughout this entire thing, and i've been VERY clear to do that. and i don't think the angry people protesting the police are angry fools. Many of them ARE responding to actual racism. you see, racism DOES exist, but to say it's "systemic" is a stupid meaningless word, that kind of attack the institution of police.
THE NUMBER ONE WAY, of fighting racism here, is as follows:
1. find an example of racism, like that cop in georgia who clearly shot the black man who was no threat
2. i will join you with trying to get him prosecuted (he was sent to jail)
3. reform such as body cameras and increased transparency, non-lethals i'm also open to and support.
and that's it. does that REALLY make me a radical?
