Foot surgery - removed bone spurs from the big joint in my big toe, and shaved down the bone to remove a surface where the cartilage was missing to that there wouldn't be any more bone-to-bone contact in the joint. Hurts like a bitch! I'm seriously on some top-notch pain meds and barely even feel a body buzz because it's all going to dulling the pain.

But....hee hee...I got to skip the dreaded trip across the state to the in-law family Christmas party, which is just a thing of sheer torture. Yes....I'd rather have someone slice my foot open and stab a knife into my bone that deal with a day with my wife's jackass brothers and bitch sister....
