@Gen Lee, you get to put your potential allies in a preference list and then the best fit (as decided by zultar) will be used which means you won't necessarily get your number 1 or 2, but you are unlikely to get your number 5 or 6.

Yeah, but if I got matched with seth24c we would run the table, so it's probably better that I didn't so everyone has a fair shot. ;-)

@SF, 36 hour phases to give time to discuss the boards with your partners. But feel free to ready up of course.

More thoughts - as the games finish, it will be readily apparent who's working with whom. Therefore, releasing the score table on the forum shouldn't be done until all the games are over since the points depend on the partnerships. Also how are we going to start 4 new games if we already know who the partners are after the first 3 are done?

We won't do the scores until the very end. And I think these 3 games will be our first tourney run. I think we would need to do all seven at the same time, right?

Well, I don't want us to make any comment that would influence on-going games, and Alderian, being my designated TD, can shut us up if he thinks we're stepping beyond the structure, but I think there are some general points that I think we can discuss. However, I'm not comfortable discussing them unless the other players in the group feel comfortable talking about them as well. Since the tourney is a bit different than any before and we have made only one move, if we can improve it, I don't see that as harmful.

This is what I think - any more information and I'll know precisely who is which country and what the rest of the circle is.
