@TrPrado: Last hour is last 2% of the day phase. That's not a lot of time to develop much of a rational basis for changing votes. BB's body of work did not justify the way that wagon came out of nowhere IMO.

Slacker, Luc and Yoyo were nowhere to be seen. They couldn't participate in that discussion. Yoyo showed up at the last minute and unvoted. And the town got screwed. Great.

I'm back. I'm not feeling much better but I guess I'll start by catching up. I hadn't read the past 6-7 pages so I had no idea where the Guak or Balki bandwagon came from, so I couldnt make an educated decision.

@TrPrado: I'm responding to your statement that implies you think 1 hour at the end of day is enough time to build a well-thought out case. Not the case here. Not the case usually. Especially when it involved BB. The only person who really had him in his sights was guak. Then a couple people jumped on board and the train had left the station.

Those late wagons are one of the things I really dislike about mafia here. Oh well.

Yoyo: DL and I both had something of cases on guak. Lucland said he had suspicions when he voted for him, but never elaborated. At some point he promised to present a case against guak, but he hasn't given it to us yet. And slacker just dropped a vote on guak without saying anything. And the Balki wagon came when he "scumslipped" that he was trying to build town cred. ND was the one who pointed it out, but guak was the one who went gungho on it and tried to make sure it happened. All the while, DL was trying to save Balki because of his reaction under pressure and his logical reasoning for what he said about town cred.

Town: It is my belief that guak jumped on the BB wagon so fast because he wanted to put down the Espi wagon. He saw ND say he had a scumslip, so guak capitalized on that and pushed to get a wagon stronger than that of someone who happened to also be buddying up to him. He dropped it when he thought it couldn't work, then pushed even harder when he saw ND revive it. He deflected every argument BB and DL made as to why the wagon was bad, and demanded it go through. So guak saved Espi. Any thoughts? Concerns?

Jeff: I want to know why you think the cases against me have merit. I think they are deeply flawed, but I'm also town. And you yourself haven't really elaborated on your thinking of me being scum.

I had three scum reads earlier: you, bo and yoyo. Yours was marginally the best case. bo and yoyo seemed to be less scummy than you did. I had to vote somewhere, so I went with you, even though that wagon ended up fizzling.

I still think that's the right decision. However, because guak was so stridently anti-BB, and because guak tried to link you two together and failed, I have to rethink my judgment.

To be honest, if I'd looked at the clock I would have tried to save BB more and earlier, but I was dropping in and out doing math and didn't keep track of the time. I didn't support that at all.

ND: You seemed doubtful of going for BB at first, but then you unvoted Espi and reviewed before you decided to go with the BB wagon, which you seemed rather sure of. What changed?

I think a big question, going into day 2, is who stays on me and who ignores me. I was the main scum read for a while, and there were 2 main bus attempts in my name, Tr and BB. Guak dying or living through the night will also hopefully tell us something.

I thought that BB legitimately slipped. I kept looking back at it and I was convinced.

I don't remember you thinking either of us were scum, and the other way around should also include DL, since he was also vocal around the end in his attempt to get you lynched. Also, "bus," to my knowledge, implies that a scum is advocating for the lynch of another scum. Since BB wasn't scum, he couldn't have technically bussed you.

Also, I did defend Espi repeatedly. I am not going to deny that. I think Espi was a very bad lynch. But the way you are telling the story is just not true. I did not make BB happen the way you say I did. In fact, I had already given up on BB when ND helped revive that wagon. And if you had been a possibility I would had voted you again. Fact is, I fully expected a town BB to claim cop. I did not believe for a second that Espi could get away with a cop claim. I think that DL's p1 post delineated a good town strategy and was very interested in seeing if that would happen. I still cannot figure out why didn't Balki claim.

Well that all turns into WIFOM at that point, guak. And that's how you are going to treat it if you live through the night, so whatever.
