Man, wtf? I hate when these stupid lynches come out of nowhere in the last minutes of the phase. We had TrPrado. And then guak switched to BB? WTF? Friggin' sheep.

Sorry Balki. I think your organized arguments would have helped us out a lot.

@TrPrado, there is a difference between talking about a no lynch and actually trying to force one. I can give a free pass to someone for talking no lynch, cannot for actually forcing a tie. Only time a tie has happened was M10, when ghug caused it. I immediately said we needed to lynch him because only scum cause ties. ghug was scum and I was super pissed that we did not lynch him.

Also, I now think Espi has become more suspicious, but I do not think he is scummier than you or Saladin yet.

I just don't get why Balki would put so much emphasis on his image like that. I'll spend the night just looking into it and re-examining his work. Maybe we can learn something from it for d2. I also noticed Saladin tried to tie it up at the end and that should be noted.

Which part? SS has been trying to force a tie for some time, and guak said Espi wouldn't seem scummy to him unless BB turned up town, and he has.

And where was everyone at EOD?

So many interesting people to look at. The whole Balki wagon, because it was probably meant/used to save someone. Saladin, because who tries to force ties. Lucland and americaslacker, because it would be remiss to forget them. And finally, another look at the leaders pre-Balki, to see who may have been saved. Of course, that's absolutely everyone.

Wasn't trying to tie it, for the record. Was trying to save Balki. I figured if he were mafia, he'd know I was town, and he'd let popular opinion kill me. He defended me, which suggested to me that he wasn't mafia, but wouldn't be enough evidence to convince anyone but me. I didn't want him to die, and the last time i checked the thread, it wasn't a threat.

Saladin, you would be lynched day two, purely on policy. If you're scum, that would be worth it, though we might end up lynching you tomorrow anyway.

So why is it you had a vote on me, SS? And I'm not sure I understand your general logic.

I have to say I am sad that Balki did not fakeclaim cop like DL had proposed VT's should.

@Saladin: by the way that logic you just used is precisely what buddying up is. Mafia defending townies to make them think they are town. In this case it turned out Balki was indeed town, but you should be wary of using that logic.

Yeah, there really isn't a reason why you wouldn't. You turn an option where it's 2 town die at best, cop is among them at worst, to 2 town dead at worst cop can't be among them. If they survive the night because they're scum, they're a sitting duck until the real cop decides to claim. Only threat is someone claiming, and mafia leaving them alive, and then real cop outing and them getting lynched. Probably worth the risk?

Well I'm not defending myself on my phone. I'll maybe write something real later. All I have to say now is screw all of you for suddenly turning on the one guy I was relatively sure of, but had no way of defending. Wouldn't surprise me I'd at least one of the votes against him came from mafia.

I doubt it would've mattered though because everybody on him was set in their ways, while the non-Balki votes were annoyingly split

Death, I don't think there's a single time we lynched someone on the day of their claim, early on, at least.

@phil: definitely worth the risk as long as real cop understands that he should not claim until he has at least three scans.

@DL: I was here and ready to change my vote back to TrPrado if BB claimed

So if BB claimed, we'd actually have gotten Espi lynched.
