Prado, are you townreading Fox because of his playstyle? Because I agree there's nothing scummy about that.
I'm scumreading him because he was always ignoring the scum wagon. Read Tom's case on him ignoring the Byron wagon.
And then he ignored the bo wagon all the way up until ghug told him to vote there, which he did right away even when bo claimed. He claimed he wasn't following what was going on but that's not fully true because he was still engaged when the spirit wagon came up.

I'm townreading him because his playstyle is not one a new player would be able to replicate without extreme coaching, which I would have to see evidence of before even remotely considering him possibly scum.

It's very possible for new players to be good without being coached.

There’s a completely different characteristic of how they expect they should play the game. New scum are far more afraid of being caught than anything else, and I don’t think that has been particularly characteristic of Fox’s style.

Different people have different approaches to things. Not all new scum are necessarily afraid of being caught.

A bit troubled by Vecna's "I've said all I'm going to say." While it is Christmas, grumpy Vecna seems more Scrooge than Santa. He has not finished discussions going on with others, and hasn't responded to me. Reedeer deserves some pressure, too... but i am changing my vote.

To be fair to me, I missed the Demon wagon because I was already on the Ghug wagon a day early. And to clarify, when Bo claimed, I was following the game inasmuch as I was reading along and tracking votes and people's reads and arguments. But processing a PR claim was new to me, and my main priority at that point was opposing the Yavuz lynch.

I still don't see why claiming PR when you're about to be lynched is respected at all, though. It mostly just seems like a way for scum to get someone else lynched and expose the real PRs. But then, I also still think that no-lynch on Day 1 is worth considering.

I'm going to break protocol and post here. I have never done this as I do not care about this game on the site until it interferes with site development. I created a thread on the forum to let people know that we were rolling out a new forum within a few days and had a plan on how to help you guys continue this game, but jamiet99uk had emailed Kestas and confused him that this was going to interfere with the Mafia game after I have already explicitly told him that it should be paused and wait until we have rolled out the new forum. Now there is a delay on rolling the new forum because of this.

This is not going to happen again. We have worked hard to make sure that we would be on time to roll out the new forum. If you guys, especially your game creators, can't keep this shit together, I'm going to shut down Mafia and you can find another place to play it.

Jamiet99uk emailed Kestas, as referred to by Zultar, because he received PMs from three different Mods / Admins, all three of whom had a different impression of how the transition to the new forum was going to happen, and when.

If I have committed a crime by seeking clarity from the organ grinder in the face of such confusion by his monkeys, well fuck you.

Well Mafia members. Your game is now on paused until you can find a GM to learn to be patient and follow instructions. It is unacceptable to me that this interfered with site development. I apologize for interfering with this game and pausing it. I have contacted the Mafia council to work this issue out.

This game has been unsilenced. The issues raised have been smoothed over in private, and should not impact the game going forward. The transition to a new forum will still occur soon, and the game *may* be reliant on peterlund's bot for a time to show post history.
