This may sound funny, but...

...what would you do if some players played helping you in a way more than suspicious?

I mean, suppose someone is basically letting you win by playing poorly. What would you do? Take the offer, or propose a draw?

I am leaving the site

I just moved to Princeton and my life will be involved with study for the coming year. Therefore, I don't have the time to spend on diplomacy.

WebDip Triathlon Round 2

I will be looking to start WebDip Triathlon Round 2 next week. It will consist of a GB and FP game. As some people expressed disappointment with the trny, I'll give everyone this week to opt out. We also need subs if ppl are interested.

Yeah. Looking at the matches, unfortunately, there are a lot of people playing in the same games with others. Originally it was designed to minimize that but I've said fuck it in light of the recent shuffles.

Okay, what the hell? I open up H3G1, and it's already Fall of 1901? I never even submitted any moves!

Clearly, I got assigned a nation that some genius decided to ready moves for. I haven't analyzed the board yet to see whether these moves were actually good ones, but the quality of moves is beside the point.

Needless to say, I am not happy. If people are going to goof around and ready moves before they are even assigned their "real" country, games should be auto-paused when the countries are shuffled. Isn't that what we did last round?

So, Tasnica has graciously agreed to just keep playing with the opening he inherited but could people ensure that they don't ready their moves before it's shuffled.
I'll also ask the mods to pause the games post shuffle.

We're waiting on pjmansfield to join H3G2.
DustyWells is missing from H3G3 and H4G2
DILK is missing from H3G2 and H4G1

Stressedlines said he'd be willing to take over for DILK but it seems like Dusty Wells is also AWOL so we're going to need a 2nd sub there. I have some volunteers to play the GB game so I'll just advertise for a random to take over DustyWells' other game.

Stressedline was having difficulty joining the games so if someone could confirm the password that'd be great.

If I'm correct... I'm in 23 games, another 2 on vdip, and another three will start soon... So I'm going to start 2 more games, I don't care what setting, I just want to go to 30 games total! Idc phase length or whatever, or even bet size. So, post if interested.

Why are the only games i've seen for 2-3 days only 5 and 10 point games... i've had a 101 point standard game up for 2 days and no takers... it didn't used to be like this...
