Oh, and if you came over to my house, you'd see my wife bitch slap me if I said fuck. so here and work (and MMORPGs) and sometimes the casino (depending on the dealer, table mates, and pit boss) are the only places I get to fully express myself.

I wonder if TC takes any pride in getting muted. I know it was a good day for me when krellin muted me because he found my challenges unanswerable (while claiming no one was ballsy enough to answer his challenge).

Well, the wife doesn't like it and her mom is real old school. Hell, I say "It only cost about 20 grand" and she says some shit like "what, are you a gangster now?" Bullshit from a mother in law still living in the 50s (she turns 85 next month). Or her favorite is that I'm not a professional because lots of people "work on computers like that waitress typing on the computer over there." She just doesn't get it. But she will when I'm the one who decides what closet of a nursing home she gets stuffed in after her money runs out and I'm paying the bills. Then she'll wish she had treated *me* with more fucking respect. ;-)

I can't help but think this idea of muting anyone who 'offends' is completely oversensitive. The point is to develop a think skin - not hide behind a sheltered existence where you have no awareness of these things and get increasingly offended when you inevitably come across them.

Mujus told me he has muted me because of my offensive language - this completely shocked me. I hardly ever use offensive language and if I do it's more often than not in a joking manner. To me, this is a hypersensitive action that is completely unhelpful to everyone accepting each other.

Communication is surely the much better option rather than simply muting people from your life.

Thats right Sarg, Mujus's 5 year old kids should be frequently exposed to live sex shows, mass executions, frecal freaks and... well, webdip. This will do them a lot of good and thicken their skins SO THICK Mmmmmmm! Hey it worked for Albert Fish!

Like I said, don't take it personally. I don't even remember muting you, Sarge, but I've been muting anyone whose posts I don't want my kids to see. And for Abge and anyone else who is concerned that my kids might be "just sitting there," they play in community and college orchestras, volunteer in a local hospital, lead worship in a local church, etc. But I don't want them walking by and seeing the kind of language that this site is full of. If that offends anyone, I guess you can always mute me. I promise I won't take it personally. :-D

Actually, I was talking about Mujus himself. I know nothing about his children so I have no comment for that - all I was doing was agreeing with abgemacht's point questioning why they would simply be sat round watching Mujus hack away at the forum anyway.

It's not as if Mujus hasn't done quite his fair share of inane trolling that he is such a beacon of responsibility.
