A white South African is not African-American because the latter term refers to descendants of slaves in the US. People immigrating from Africa do not have the same history, culture, and experience as US African-Americans and aren't of the same nationality. Im well aware of poverty= crime. I did not debate that, not once. What I am debating is that 'poverty is a good excuse for rape and murder' which is what you certainly are implying.

Maine is poor? I thought they were average. Might have something to do with the fact that have very few population centers. Hard to rape and murder people if there are no people around to rape and murder. Overall the wealthier the state is, the less crime. New Mexico has very few African-Americans, yet has a high crime rate. Maybe next you'll say Latinos are racially predisposed to crime too.
