You could create all four games and send all four passwords to all 24 opponents. Then you won't know who is in which game.

OK, so to keep this bumped up and make the disqualified invitational more fun, I propose the following.

Strategy chooses his first player. That player then chooses the next one who has to meet strata approval too. Then the it'd chooses the fourth whichmust meet the first two's approval and so on until 7 are chosen.

I'm not too interested in the higher pot games, though MadMarx's offer is tempting. Another time, maybe next year I'll play him. I've lost near 300 in a month, so I'll start hoarding and spending them gingerly. Consider me disqualified.

Yes, I would also love to play but the start date falls right on the busiest week of school this semester. I too would like to play a game with him/you (the grammar sounds weird here, oh well) in the future.

Sorry to all, but it's going to be too much to respond to everyone directly, if I were playing an unlimited amount of games we would have filled five games and started a sixth already... Exclusions will likely be based on a combination of GR and the fact that I enjoy playing different people rather than the same people repeatedly...

Once I create the games, the list of participants will be destroyed and my crappy memory and inability to figure out who people are will keep everyone anonymous to me as well (plus I prefer not knowing who anyone is in a game, it makes the game more "pure" for me, limits metagaming and requires us all to base decisions on that specific game 100%).

PM me questions and I will respond in this thread, but again, anyone else posting in this thread will be automatically disqualified from joining this invitational since I don't want anyone to have a clue as to who else is playing.

HONOR RULE: By joining, you agree to not discuss which great power I am playing (since everyone will know I am in the game), and no discussing who anyone is in the game, regarding me or anyone else (in case some of you are good at figuring this stuf out, you *must* keep it to yourself, but ideally you won't even try).

What a crock of shit. You can't destroy PMs and I can guarentee that MadMarx, probably one of the best, if not the best, diplomacy players on the site has a good memory.

Fasces, I'm not the type to dwell on figuring out who others are, I go to my personal Zen place when I'm in games and I play by feel, based 100% (or as close as I can get, that's why I've set things up how I have!) on in-game press and actions/orders. The last thing in the world I enjoy is research, so I can guarantee that I will not be trying to figure out who people are and then looking at their past games and trying to figure out their future actions, partly because that sounds like pure torture and partly becuase I don't need to. ;-)

Either way, I'll request that if you do not want to join this Invitiational, which you clearly don't since you have posted in this thread, that you just not worry about it. We're all big boys and girls on this site, if people don't want to play me given the circumstances, if people don't trust me to respect the game enough to follow through with my claims on how this Invitational is set up, then they don't have to join.
