What exactly are the qualifications to join?

there should be enough of us in Hong Kong to put together a team - though perhaps an East Asian team would be easier.

qualifications of joining is if you are from there and you have to have four people on the team. thats it. the countries i put listed up there are jsut an idea if anyone can make other teams thats great! i just need their to be either 14 or 21 teams by the end. so Asian team or Latin team would be awesome as well.

southern europe or spain portugal would be cool to

also everyone keep in mind that i still need some people to help me out with this tourny so if you could it would be appreciated. This is the first World Cup Diplomacy held and my first time running a tourny so any help would be great.

I'm Slovene and would like to play for South Europe or East Europe. If there's a Balkan team, it would be best.

@JECE yes we don;t start until after January 27th. this tournament may take a while to get all the teams

phase length will be 1day 12 hours for each game

in order to be a part of a team you have to be from that area or living there presently. i would prefer living there presently but its up to the teams to decide.

Okay DJEcc we should set a date for when to declare officail teams and then set out and get the emails going so that people can get the emails for games going

i was thinking mid january to actually declare teams because it may take a while to get them up and running. so far we have a southern europe, australia, USA West, USA midwest, scandanavia and an iberian team working on their teams. we need to get them all posting on the forum to find theirs. what do you think about signups starting around the seventeenth? each team should designate a captain to shoot us an email signing their team up with each team members email and diplomacy screen name.

oh and canada is working on one too
