In the U.S., "Indian" is in use, but not frequently used; "Native American" is more common. People descended from indigenous Alaskans are referred to as "Alaskan Natives" (I think), although they are also sometimes just called "Native Americans". "Eskimo" is not in common use, but I don't think it's derogatory; "Inuit" seems to be used much more in Canada than in the U.S. (and "First Nations" is a distinctly Canadian term.)
But to the original question, a lot of Russians in my neighborhood in Washington, D.C., and I won't stereotype them, other than to say that Russian women, while attractive, tend to overdo it on the makeup and the glamorous clothes. Bright red lipstick, skin-tight jeans, badly dyed hair: good chance she's Russian.
