well, since the only medium the nerds on this site are united in is diplomacy, diplomacy is the most relevant skill to have here.

comparisons have to be made in comparable environments. both of us are diplomacy players, so to compare us, using our diplomacy skill is entirely legimate and logic.

Come now, that's unfair. You don't have a large enough sample to imply what you're implying. The ten or so females are surely better than Draugnar, but you forget that 99.9 percent of the diplomacy community is better than Draugnar (The .1% is diplofool)

The male community is burdened by our large number. Assuming there are 500 active male members, the probability of having a male worse than Draugnar is ~0.4, (1-.999^500), whereas the probability of having a female worse than Draugnar is ~0.025, (1-.999^25. I'm being generous and giving you all 25)

@Centurian - I would argue that no PERSON is superior to any other PERSON regardless of sex, race, religious views, sexual orientation, social status, or any other divisive definition you can provide. To think otherwise is elitist and wrong. I was kind of hoping Akroma would jump on my phrasing and say something to the effect that I claimed a man was superior to a woman, but she wisely didn't.

Superiority is all in the mind of the individual and is an egotistical view that should be put in check.

I'm just saying that an absolute (had you said at diplomacy, that would be different) like you give is false. No one is superior or inferior to anyone else. I wanted to see if you'd jump at my response with a misinterpretation and twisting of what I said. You did, proving my point.

I disagree. The value of their life is equal. I, to, am smarter than the average bear (well MENSA thinks I am) but that does not make me superior to the neighbor boy with down syndrome. In fact, I can learn a lot from him and his outlook on life.

You may be better at somethings, or even most everything, but that doesn't make you Homo Superior. This wasn't about what homeless Joe might have been. I'll make my point a different way. Do you think Di Vinci was a better person than Adolf Hitler? I do... What about Pol Pot? What about Joseph Stalin? A genus species is not a determinant of somethings worth. The accomplishments, or in some cases, destructions, they make with their life determine their worth or lack thereof.
