To anyone who disapproves of lying in a game of diplomacy, I warn you not to trust the player known as mwalton. Whatever he may say to the contrary, he's a vulgar backstabber, luring people into alliances which he which then breaks without a word of warning within three or four phases.
Thomas B has gone AWOL. He was part of league D1. The first game just drew. He had 14 SCs but was in CD, so he did not share in the draw or the pot. In Game 4, we have begun with Italy in CD because Thomas didn't join. Can you force CD in the other 2 and get a sub?

When I try and load up the phpdip site on my iPhone everything works perfectly, except the message logs - it only shows up about half of the logs, which means you can't see any new message as they appear at the bottom.
Is there anything that can be done about this? If nothing else an option to have new messages at the top of the log rather than the bottom would get around the issue.
i cant fint the previous thread but i believe the winner was the beatles or RHCP, and im happy either way. but obviously the best movie ever is the recent dragonball release
I play Spy unless there's already one or two, then I switch to Medic or Engie. I also do Pyro and Scout, and dabble in Demoman, Heavy, and Soldier. SN should be either PandaKnight or Pandarsenic but I'm not sure which one you have to add to add me properly.
Well, I've made sure that my orders are in or I have enough time to sober up and enter them in tomorrow. I've also updated my will and estate, and I'm leaving everything to be divided between whoever's posted in this thread.
Now, I'm going to get really, really drunk, off of Canadian Club Reserve Whiskey no less! It's up to you West Coasters and anyone who wants a piece of my estate to keep the thread going! We've got to beat the Americans like we did in the War of 1812! =D
My friend's brother, Mike Lobel, plays a prominent character in Degrassi. That's how few people there are in Canada. Everyone in Canada is linked to a cast member of Degrassi by at most four links. =)
I don't think this thread is exemplifying trademark Canadian modesty.
Although I suppose saying Canada is merely the best country as opposed to the single greatest thing occuring in the natural world is needlessly modest.
Canada is not a "British Dominion," it is a Dominion. Control over Canadian foreign policy was the last vestige of British rule, and it was ended by the Statute of Westminster (around 1931 or so - off the top of my head). All other powers were transferred to Canada by the BNA act of 1867. Newfoundland was still a British colony until 1949 though.
Isn't she toxic enough already? Just make sure she lives in Montreal, and you don't need to bother with the nuke. The colonies (:P) should really learn to work around nuking people.

Also, let's recognize that America has 10x the population of Canada, so when the 4th of July thread rolls around, there better be 10x as many posts, or we win! Our national e-peen is bigger than yours! =)
Regarding Vimy Ridge: I find revisionist history to be interesting. I am curious. Would the English and French among us please favour me with their version of the events? Here's my version, in short form.
From 1914 through 1916 about 300,000 French and British troops died attempting to capture the German stronghold. It was said, therefore, to be impregnable.
Actually Canada isn't even a dominion anymore. We repatriated our constituition in 1982. Thus becoming simply "Canada".
And on the subject of Vimy ridge, its common knowledge that man for man Canadian soldiers are the best in the world. Our regulars are held up to American Ranger style training. Thats how you keep the peace yo.
Ranger training is for wimps. Try the REAL special forces: US Marine Corps Force Recon and Navy SEALS. Those two services "best of the best" training makes Ranger training look like a day at the beach.
I just started a game for those new to the site (though you don't have to be new to the game). Come join me and let's play a quickie to get some experience. It's nine hours per move (in case you want to sleep in one day) and it's only five points to play. It'll be fun and a great learning experience!
