You should claim your role if you're being lynched for sure. We still don't want to hit PR, and it's important to get the information out if you can before you die so that we know what you've done and that you're dead.

Really where this is most difficult is the cop. We don't get the benefit of knowing when you're nightkilled and looking back at your reads, so you're going to need to do an active job of pushing the lynch towards/away from your reads as appropriate without being too obvious.

why would it be beneficial to not claim a PR role DO?

Could we all please try and make that extra effort this game to make our votes count. Make cases and try to win people over to your arguments by all means but when push comes to shove, be on one of the main wagons at end-of-day. It makes it harder for scum to manipulate a lynch.

I was thinking it might be bad to let scum know what PR's are dead. I also haven't read the set up. I assume scum don't know the roles when they flip either. Is there a role in this game that can find out or no?

Couldn't it be useful for town to fake claim PR's because the mafia will not know if they killed a PR. Say I claim and then the real PR doesn't cc, Mafia then kills me and thinks they got said PR, while real PR gets a free pass to do they business with no one looking for their role any longer.

It is a bit risky, but it could work out in town's favor, assuming we don't lynch people who claim like normal. If the real PR cced the fake claim, then it is a total loss for town, and in that lays the risk. Not advocating it, just spit balling that it could work.
