Yard sign is the owner's property. Kicking it over is vandalism and also trespassing. People should be able to express political views without having their house vandalized. Also, if you'll look to the actual link in the OP, the vandalizers also assaulted the owner when she went to protect the sign. I can't believe anyone would condone the behavior exhibited.
