Can anyone on Floodgates d4 explain why they followed me/DemonRHK onto him? Would be interested to hear their reasons for that scumread.

Also feedback for my scum play would be appreciated. I feel that I started strong but overall didn't do that great of a job staying hidden.

You were definitely the best scum player DL. But all of you made very poor night kill choices throughout...

@DL why I went on flood? I wanted to see who goes for that unlikely target, to get more information. Problem is, it worked too good and I couldn't go off him without risking a tie which would give us not good information.

I followed Warden + Kaka onto flood because no one was listening to me and the wagon on Flum was dumb as all hell.

Anyway, who's GMing the next game? Can I do it?

I believe Maniac has M27. I know I have M30. Not sure who has the two between.

@HR: I still think you shouldn't have been able to self save. Oh well.

There's a few discussion points Jamie and I have to bring to the group/council for some futureproofing and suggestions, but that can wait a day or two. Let's all just destress.

I played badly this game but glad we still won. GG scum.

I think Demon deserves MVP for this. She didn't care in the beginning but she really turned up the heat in the middle and got scum lynched before HR woke up and started playing. If anything she caused HR to wake up.

Tbh, I do think both hr and demon played good games near the end (HR after he dropped his stupid wagon on me), but the reward should go to balki or brain or ghug for taking the night kill as a VT and the only reason town won was because of the bucket loads of PRs alive at the end.
It's easy to lead town as a PR. It's when VTs can pull things off that's impressive.

I also need to go back and read what the doppelganger role was. Maf didn't seem to have many powerful roles

I'll admit, I misunderstood the Doppelganger role a bit early on. When I initially read it, I thought he had to choose a person every night, and if they died, then he got their powers. I didn't realize it was so weak.

IMO, Mafia wasted their Poisoner, in particular. A kill that's immune to the Doc-save is powerful, and should be held until you're 100% certain of your target.

As for Doppelganger, it does seem weak. I applied it exactly as it exists in Mafiascum, but I guess when it's seen there, there usually aren't 26 players, so the chance of hitting a Town PR is higher.

I'm not sure it's a case of waking me up. I get more active as a game goes on because I certainly don't have time to get reads on 25 players whereas reads on 15 is doable; and it coincided with work getting quieter and quieter for me as it's now the dead months of the catering industry. So it all came together for me to have a lot more time to analyse rather than just go on gut feel - the massive difference in depth on the Flum case vs the rdrivera case are the illustration of that.

I'm not sure. I genuinely started typing it up as soon as I got home from work, but that was like 50 minutes rom EoD and it takes quite a while to write a case that big. It had about half an hour and a lot of townies seemed to buy it (Tom, Ezio, dargorygel, and Kaka), so I guess they must've at least skimmed it.

No, I had overlapping scum reads with other people. Which is likely considering there aren't that many players.

The embarrassment of your flip would've saved my strong townread Floodgates from being flipped, so it would've cancelled out to zero, Flum. :p

To be honest I only kept the arguing going the last few days just for the people viewing :D

Floodgates was useless and lurker scummy which means he probably would have been lynched anyway whereas Flum was ACTUALLY townie and engaged. I regret nothing.
