Scum are the ones whose activity spikes once a wagon forms on them. Townies usually stay at a similar level, with a slight increase. DL8 posted more once the wagon on him got started than he had in what felt like the entire rest of the game. He made two huge posts, immediately after, and kept spamming everyone about how bad the case on him was.

I don't particularly buy that logic, Ezio. Sometimes wagons are the things needed to get people off their asses. xorxes didn't really post any more yesterday, did he?

Should DL return to being useless then you'd have more of a point, but he seems to have stayed fairly engaged since that case was posted.

Also, teacon should have been lynched on day 4. *cough cough*

I don't think there's any way mafia would rather hooker got lynched than corrupter, so I don't believe there's a chance in hell that DL8 is hooker. xorxes previously voted DemonRHK up to that point; and his wagon was also fairly large for quite a while (DL8, Ezio, Flum, rdrivera, and xorxes all voted him). That list of 5 people had at least one mafia (xorxes) and I'll upload a picture of myself eating a shoe if there's not at least one other mafia in DL8/Ezio/Flum/rdrivera (someone can hold me to that later). So I think that also rules DemonRHK out of being the hooker - it's too critical.

Tom was voted by dargorygel D3 but otherwise nothing of note - and given dargorygel was barely active, that's a moot point.

Ok, now read analysis on the night kills:
Balki (N2) scumreads: Moscow, arj, rdrivera, dargorygel, brainbomb - Interesting. Two of our potential hookers in there.
bo_sox (N3) scumreads: Ezio, teacon, DL8, DemonRHK - Nothing of note here.
ghug (N4) scumreads: HR, xorxes, teacon, Ezio, DemonRHK - Nothing of note here either.
Warden (N5) scumreads: Doesn't actually give a reads list during the night; but does start pushing rdrivera somewhat. Given they'd shied away from killing Warden for days and knew I couldn't save Kaka, I didn't expect them to risk killing Warden last night. Perhaps a combination of the beginnings of pressure on the hooker and Warden being the one to do it caused them to bite the bullet there?

Conclusions here: Balki's death N2 and ghug's death N4 are the oddest kills thus far. Balki scumread both drivera and dargorygel. Point in favour of Tom Bombadil; as there's zero reason mafia would have made of those kills if protecting the hooker had been part of the reasoning.

Warden pressuring rdrivera last night and then suddenly dying really does interest me. Perhaps I was naive in thinking the scum were all too pussy to risk killing Warden; but given Warden did basically nothing else and was not leading the town in any way, so killing him instead of RB'ing him doesn't weaken town at all, it really surprised me they took that risk. rdrivera being hooker they're trying to protect is the only catalyst I can see for them suddenly starting to take risks they shied away from for 3 nights running beforehand.

why do you think the hooker is no longer pressured? they just killed warden. I don't know what to take of substance out of that analysis... Should we kill darg?

I think hooker isn't pressured because they didn't rush to kill Warden. They were happy to just keep RB'ing him over the nights; when if hooker got lynched Warden would start getting dreams out. So I think it's quite clear that the hooker wasn't in danger til yesterday at the earliest.

HR - I think your analysis is sound regarding the hooker, but I don't necessarily agree that it points to rdrivera. To me it doesn't matter that the pressure was coming from Warden, but that there was pressure. I think darg had more pressure on him (though indirectly) from what I posted, and DO's statement that she began scumreading him. I feel he was under more pressure than rd (mostly because people have townread rd more than darg who has been pretty much absent).

I think you are isolated pressure from Warden, when you should be looking at pressure in general from everyone.

I think it was pretty optimal for mafia to kill DO last night, and fully expected them to do that (or take Kaka as the coward's option). So I think it's certainly worth questioning why they decided to kill Warden *now* after ignoring him for the last couple of nights; and taking no risks before that either. Even as far back as N1 they poisoned brainbomb instead of killing him; so they've been extremely risk-averse for the entire game. Why stop now?
