What do people do outside of webDip?
Do people actually have lives outside of this game? What do people actually pursue with their existence? Who has the worst job? All of these burning questions, just waiting to be answered.

It appears the days where America cared about polar bears, rising sea levels, emissions, and trying to be a leader in changing our dying planet.... has all come to an end. RIP Earth.

WebDiplomacy Survivor - Final Tribal Council
35 days ago, 21 castaways begun their journey in the webDiplomacy version of the famous reality game show. Now, only three - Balki Bartokomous, DemonOverlord, Fluminator - remain, and all have fought tooth and nail to make it this far.

The final victor will be decided by eleven of the players they voted out, and this is their opportunity to sway votes their way. Welcome to Final Tribal.

Uh, no. That was before Ezio was voted out. Afterwards, I made it clear that I would stay with the Birsan alliance until the end.
Balki, please stop. This is just sad, and nobody is convinced.

Snowy, I have a few questions. Why did you vote for me at the end? Did Flum tell you that you were going to be eliminated? Did he tell you that he told me he was pretending to vote for you for whatever reason?
snowy801 (591 D)
01 Jun 17 UTC
Because, you know, timing matters. Promises made a day after Ezio died with regards to whether I should choose to side with you or Ezio (and very specifically not ghug or DO) entirely overrule whatever comments I may have made beforehand.
"Uh, no. That was before Ezio was voted out."

Exactly Snowy. Do you understand why I would (a) believe what you say when you tell it to me at a time when you think you're safe and it's against your interest to tell me, and (b) not believe what you say after I just stabbed your aly and you're on the chopping block?

Also, are you admitting that you were planning to fearvote me at final four before we stabbed Ezio?

I honestly care more about your honor than I do about the Survivor jury. You make me sad for your soul.
snowy801 (591 D)
01 Jun 17 UTC
Balki told me he wanted to vote for you instead of ghug, claiming he believed if ghug were in the final 4 he thought I would be more likely to vote out ghug than you at the end game over himself (true)
As I intended to vote you both, I cared not either way.
Durga (3609 D)
01 Jun 17 UTC
So why didn't Flum vote alongside you?
snowy801 (591 D)
01 Jun 17 UTC
I did prefer to have Ezio carry on than you did. All is exactly as I said. I've told very few lies this games: mostly surrounding the votes on yoyo and Vash.
This delusion is untenable. I wasn't going to vote you out after Ezio was lynched.
Ah, I see, Snowy.

So you agree that you were going to fearvote me, and let Flum into the jury because you thought you could beat Flum and not me.

But then when you were on the chopping block for this you told me "Change my mind...I'm not going to vote you." And me voting you out at that point was a stab?

You don't believe this. You're trying to meta-game, and send some message in Survivor II that Snowy is not to be trifled with. You were honest about this a few minutes ago.

Gross.
snowy801 (591 D)
01 Jun 17 UTC
Flum knew the stab was coming from Balki, I presume.
I'm perfectly aware of the circumstances surrounding my lynch, DO, and I am yet content to promote Flum as the winner
I think he has overall played the best game of you three
@Snowy, if you're being honest with us, will you do the jury the courtesy of explaining why, before Ezio was voted out, you believed that I was a bigger threat to you at jury than Flum and you wouldn't make a final three deal with me because of it?
snowy801 (591 D)
01 Jun 17 UTC
Balki, there will be no Survivor II. Meme told me this a few days ago, so that can't be my motivation
Again, I am the juror, and not on trial. I have no motivation to lie. I did not intend to lynch you at final 4, and that you chose to stab me then was your error as well as mine
Durga (3609 D)
01 Jun 17 UTC
If there's anything I believe out of Balki it's that Flum is a watered down version of himself, so I don't really get that sentiment.
Like, fucking look at this again. Snowy's words, against his interest, when he thought he was safe:

"There's no choice. If I side with you, Flum is our third no question. Really, the only real question I have is whether people will vote me for the win more over you, or Ezio. Because for all our talks about honesty and integrity, we're in it to win it, no? Final three is no position but you know what they say - if you're not #1 you're just a loser."

And now, after I voted him out to avoid the exact scenario he describes where he would fearvote me and take Flum to jury to beat Flum, Snowy says he's voting Flum over me.
Snowy, parse these words:

"There's no choice. If I side with you, Flum is our third no question. Really, the only real question I have is whether people will vote me for the win more over you, or Ezio. Because for all our talks about honesty and integrity, we're in it to win it, no? Final three is no position but you know what they say - if you're not #1 you're just a loser."

What do they mean if not what they mean?

My threat list went thus:
Ezio > ghug > Balki > Flum > DO > Vash

Ezio is straightforward. He played overall a similar game as I did, but he did a lot more things - set up more (fake) alliances, did more events and item plays, and was generally more active. Some people not on our tribe seemed to be under this weird impression that I was in his pocket. At the same time, it was my image to take the initial 4 allies (Ezio, Flum, glen - rip) to the end and promote my own trustworthiness as my winning campaign - you guessed that right. Hence my conflict between deciding between you two, despite my greater perception of his threat.

ghug was an underdog, and had many friends. His making final 3 would've been impressive, and worth voting for. I feel that had he made it to the end, he would have my vote.

You were manipulative, selfish and very active. Essentially, you played the precise opposite of my game, and I felt that I would not be able to determine for sure whether people would value your actions over mine. Unfortunately, I never got to find out.

Flum played a weaker mix of my game and Ezio's. Trust to old, stauch allies as well as his own willingness to stab when necessary was his appeal - striking the right mix. However, his focus was split not just in his playstyle, but interactions as well - being moved to the Sharp Tribe and then defecting back to Birsan, I felt the connections he forged would not be as mine. The rest were never in my consideration.
snowy801 (591 D)
01 Jun 17 UTC
It means exactly what I said. My consideration for the final 3 included which set up would most likely secure me my victory, and I was yet to determine whether you or Ezio would be reach that mark. I believe my final appeal would be stronger than Flum's in every facet, but I could not be sure about the two of you.

"It's so easy to make the final 3 by promising everyone everything, which is exactly what Flum and Balki did."

Don't kid yourself, Demon. It wasn't easy. It's easy to make the final 3 when everyone has a crush on you.

Why won't you tell us how many pages your messages list was?
Durga (3609 D)

Oh thanks Balki. Obviously I'm just here because of my gender. Fuck you, I'm out.
snowy801 (591 D)
01 Jun 17 UTC
You seem to think that because I felt you were more threatening to me than Flum, you are more deserving of victory as well. However, one must consider not only your achievements but your mistakes. Your mistake was, among other things, voting me out. I am disappointed by how Flum behaved near the end, but he did not lose my vote while you did. And this is the point which you desperately wish were untrue - the winner shouldn't be the one who played best, but the best player happens to be the winner. In that sense, I am confident Flum and DO played a superior game to you.

The jury is all that matters, Balki. You forgot that, and now you pay the price.
Thank you for the sincere post, Snowy:

I appreciate you sharing that.

Odd to me that you are voting Flum now, but your vote is your vote, and if you want to meta-game with it, it's your soul.

@Snowy, you admit that you were going to vote me out at 4. And then you say I made a "mistake" by voting you out at 5?

Ridiculous.

I stabbed you with perfect timing. Perfect. Timing. Because I had all information in the tribe, I knew who was going to vote for who, and when, and I got you out before you could get me out.

That's a great move. So throw your sour grapes, and try punish me, but the dishonor is yours.

Alright, Balki. I won't take this seriously because this is a game about, among other things, lies and deceptions, and know that I still love you
Also know that I intended to take you to the final 3, and told you as much. You even acknowledged that should I stab a Birsan member, my strongest appeal to the jury would be weakened significantly
Alright, hit me up when it's time to vote friends. I've heard what I need to hear and said what I need to say

I'm torn on my vote still. Personally from my personal experience I worked closely with Demon for a short period and feel obligated to vote that way because of personal experience. But hearing balki talk and defend himself is making my Vitebsk hard. Because I'm hearing balki and saying damn. That deserves a vote.
