(To: Turkey, from you) - Spring, 1901: Nah, this only gives me one final 3 scenario
Which I guess was your objective, so well done I suppose
It was also true that I wouldn't have been okay with this vote, so I guess I can't complain. How did this result come about?
Wed 24 May (To: Global, from England) - Spring, 1901: Very good game Ezio.
Wed 24 May (To: You, from Turkey) - Spring, 1901: There was a concern that you would not be okay with that vote. But I actually think this sets you up better. You two were perceived as a unit. I think this gives you more final 3 scenarios.
(To: You, from Turkey) - Spring, 1901: @Snowy, I very much have an open mind going into this next vote. For your information, my single criterion for narrowing the game to 4 is to increase my chances of surviving the next tribal counsel: 4-3. If you have thoughts on why I should fight to keep you in the game, you ought to focus them on that issue.
To: Turkey, from you) - Spring, 1901: Because I'll never vote you off?
Not sure if that needs elaboration
(To: Turkey, from you) - Spring, 1901: Well, here's my plan: follow or not is up to you
I'm going to claim to ghug and do that I have every confidence that my allies (you and Flum) will not betray me. Meanwhile, Flum will try to rally those two to vote me off this phase, and you will indicate your willingness to vote out either of us, so long as you are included in the final 3.
The hope is to stop do from using her white rock, and put three votes on ghug.
And even if on the off chance she doesn't save it for the final 4, well, your immunity will keep you safe in case of a tie
(To: Turkey, from you) - Spring, 1901: You know what - never mind, I thought the white rock gave you two votes
Yeah I'll be voting ghug this phase and expect that you will as well. If you habe disagreements please inform me
y (To: Turkey, from you) - Spring, 1901: Mate, I'm not pulling or pushing anyone. You just happen to be my last friends standing
Though I suppose you're right about everything else
Thu 25 May (To: You, from Turkey) - Spring, 1901: I'll be frank with you, it's a tough one for me. Here is what is swirling around in my head:
I feel like your pitch to the jury is actually a pretty good one. I think you'll be able to say, more than anyone else: "I played a loyal and honest game. I built strong alliances, I carefully considered what promises to make, and when I made a promise, I kept it. People on the jury, think about what promises I made to you, and what promises I didn't make. I always kept my promises. And that is why people believed they could put their faith in me, and that is why I was able to make it here to the very end of the game without winning or using a single immunity."
That's a great pitch, and it is a pitch that you, and only you, can make.
Because that has to be your winning angle, I don't think you would promise me a spot next to you at final tribal unless you intend to keep your promise. If you make that promise to me, and then break it, Jury Balki is going to be all over you. Jury Balki will not only not vote for you, but he will blow up your most powerful argument to be the sole Survivor.
So based on all that, I think that I can get a guarantee from you for the Final Three that is rock solid. Also, I think that because your pitch is one of honest, you actually set up the best possible jury for yourself by pulling in me and Flum to sit beside you. By doing that, you would be sitting against two people who broke the Birsan Final Four pledge, and you can draw a clear distinction between you and other players sitting next to you at jury.
Flum and Balki would split the "Flashy Plays Win" vote. You would get the "Honest and Loyal" vote, and you'd have a great chance to win.
So based on all of that, I am beginning to convince myself that you would indeed bring me to the final tribal with you, if given a chance.
(To: Turkey, from you) - Spring, 1901: Well, whatever the case, I'm voting ghug this phase and I believe Flum is as well
Thu 25 May (To: You, from Turkey) - Spring, 1901: I think you're overrating that survey. I think that survey hurts me in a lot of ways. For example, Ezio no doubt said he trusted me. And he'll no doubt have an axe to grind at jury. In fact, you'll be able to point to a vow that Ezio made to try to make sure Flum and I lose at jury.
Also, there were lots of reasons to answer that survey in particular ways other than your sincere belief.
So, I don't think "the great" is warranted before my name at all.
Plus, it was fairly evident at some point that you weren't intending to work with me. Hence:
(To: Turkey, from you) - Spring, 1901: Plus, I heard people feel guiltier about turning away from precommited actions
Fri 26 May (To: Turkey, from you) - Spring, 1901: I've never once worried that a friend would turn on me in this game - I must confess it's not a very pleasant experience, and would like to cease it post haste
Lay my fears to rest
I just think it's absolutely laughable that you claim you suspected for even a second that I wouldn't take you with me to the end. And this is just another facet of your inability to understand human motivation. You've already lost my vote, so who is this performance for? I don't think this is earning you points with any undecided, and I don't suspect I'm the one missing the obvious here.
