CB, honestly, there shouldn't be many people that you're not ready to lynch D1 if you have one of those itchy feelings about them. It's D1; it's rare to get much better than a halfway decent case.

I still have no clue why Spirit is the early leading wagon but I suspect that at least two of the people voting for him don't either.

If youd read the damn post I said ghug talking about setups is out if character. But his statement was the most pro town of the four. What is so hard to comorehend about this.

So CB, so far you've voted for three different people of which not one is on your list of the 5 people you'd like to see lynched at EOD. Why not put pressure on those people, see if there is an appetite to lynch them, get more information about them.

Re: Ghug train. I'm not opposed, I don't have a strong read on him at all, but nothing about his play has struck me as particularly town-sided thus far. However I'd like to see the NES wagon get some momentum so I can see what his reaction is. The other big sticking point for me is Yavuzovic and Chaqa. Neither of them had a good reason for voting him, so I'm not particularly eager to join a wagon where two of the three people don't have a good justification

@Bo- My "Not ready to lynch D1" is because they have value if they are town. I am weighing their value to the town v the chance of them being scum. Experienced players im less likely to lynch in D1. Unless they have some big thing that makes me feel more than 50% that they are scum then im not going to risk losing an experienced townie. I include quite a few of you in that group. Clearly i don't wanna name names so that i don't influence other new players.

@Damian, fishing. It's early in D1, throwing out lines could come up with something. No other real explanation besides what I give when I vote. (all my votes have an explanation.)

Yes he commented on PR claims and CORRECTED demons statement. He did so in a way that showed he has read the setup and cares. This is out of character and something he does as scum. But the rest of his play feels town to me. Thus I think its an outlier.

I just find it odd CB that you wouldn't experiment with any of the five people you've tagged as potentially worth lynching. There is nothing wrong with fishing, it just seems really weird to not even make a cursory attempt to start a wagon on one of the five people you've ID'd as your desired lynches D1

I'd like to hear about their votes too but a few bad engineers don't stop the train from rolling.

If I can reiterate. While i agree that ghug doesn't scream townie, I think there isn't all that much evidence to go off of. Ghug could easily be town and personally I value him as an experienced player. He was actually very useful last game as town (once DO wasn't around as a distraction); If we want to know if ghug / seven is a town duo then we should probably lynch seven. Just a thought. feel free to express to me with foaming mouths why I am wrong.

Lynching seven wouldn't actually give any information about ghug's alignment. All that would do is show that seven wasn't freaking out scum when he retracted his vote.

On second thought, his post talking about spam, white noise, and weird jokey stuff reads more like something directed at brainbomb than ghug, so I sort of buy his explanation. I don't think that's something a new guy just magically comes up with to cover his ass.

The point I was making was ghug was annoyed at being voted because hes been getting scumread by basically everyone two straight games. I can see it as frustration. I dont think scum ghug would display outward frustration at being bussed. Very very weak argument there.

Thats definitely why I bought the explanation when it happened.
Its just when reflecting on it I realized it could also be a scum-scum interaction.
I'd put it at probably 70% likelihood of being genuine and 30% change of scum-scum.
