Kingdroid, I think, but am not certain, that he was only talking about the first game. there's going to be more than one game going on, and first priority was given to those who had no CD's. I don't think this means you're out (but i could be wrong) but rather just means you weren't chosen for the first game and will be in one of the following ones

@Wolf89: I could only take 5, so I had to make some arbitrary decisions. The two who applied and didn't make the first game will have priority in the second game.

@peterwiggin. It's around 400 ish on the rankings. It was a hell of a lot better on fb. I'd cite my involvement as student, advisor and commentator as additional references.

I'm in a similar boat. I applied but got rejected. But then I was granted an appeal but the decision on that appeal has never been communicated to me.

But largely, at this point I don't really care if I'm in or not. I'm happy to be a part of this though, I am looking to pursue a career in academics.

You guys got wait-listed. The Dean of Admissions is waiting to see if that kid from the east coast prep school with the 1430 SAT and a 3.7 GPA is going to accept the offer or not.

@ Bob Why would I wait for some kid with a 1430 SAT? I know many people who did 100+ points better than that . . .
@Lando it was probably a PM, which means I've lost it. I do remember talking to you, but more importantly, I've played you a few times and you've been reliable in those games, if your play was a bit inconsistent. I guess that's why you're going back to school though.
