"There is no such thing as cultural marxism."
cultural marxism refers to a very far-left ideology that became prevalent in academia, and over the decades has influenced politicians, media and even further in academia. there are actual communist marches in Britain, in Germany and France there are open marxist believers who work politically. in the USA, it's less outwardly prevalent due to the strict anti-communist behavior of the Cold War, and although I'm fine with the more hippie element of it, the "cultural marxism" in academia led to a fairly narrow minded indoctrination of students, and spread into other facets of American society.
many people OPENLY say they are marxists.
so no Brainbomb, cultural marxism DOES exist. it's not some massive international conspiracy, it's not trying to kill everyone, but it is there, and ND can have legitimate complaints about it.
and since Dems are sticking with Bernie Sanders, they don't get to complain about getting called collectivists.
"Wanted paved roads is called responsible governing"
actually agreed
"Wanted to improve the lives of all your citizens should always take precedent over catering only to big business and wealthy people."
no, it's not the government's job to step and try to make EVERYONE'S lives better. only the majorly disadvantaged, and the specifics of that should be decided at local level
"Improving schools and public health are not marxist values."
improving schools? or throwing more funding at them and hoping they improve? trust me I'm from Oklahoma we're getting funding sucked dry, but in too many states the opposite is the problem.
and "improving public health"? I think you mean lowering quality of healthcare and increasing quantity of healthcare, because by almost every objective measure we have the most effective healthcare in the world right there. people treated by the NHS for pneumonia are 5x more likely to die than in the US, waiting lines in Canada are significantly longer, the private market for pharmaceutical is dying overseas, we went from 1971-1980 controlling 31% of new Pharmaceutical entities to 2001-2010 controlling 57% because not only did we grow, Europe has DESTROYED new drug creation.
so I guess that measurement is subjective
