Okay, looking back a bit at my previous attempt to organize my thoughts, a couple things have changed a lot, some things haven't at all.

Of the more important ones, not too much has changed with uclabb, he's only contributed a paragraph of lynching discussion, same for Vashta. Vashta, you should take part in the discussion, say who you find suspicious and why. Mintyboy still isn't saying anything, guak still isn't saying anything. I'd like to hear from ALEX again, with suspicions and reasoning, otherwise he's useless.

Yoyo, if you look at my post, I agreed that threatening the quiet players was a good idea. I never said newbies should get a free pass, I simply meant that we should be careful in trying to choose between someone staying quiet to learn the game, and someone staying quiet to hide their scumminess. And I have logged on on my phone several times throughout the day but with my damaged technology posting is a struggle. Especially when some of us work during the day. Wanting to stay quiet is not a good reason to kill someone. If there is more you want to know about me and my intentions, you can ask.
Also, voting for Uclabb may not have been the perfect choice, but while reading through the posts he was the first one to catch my eye, and I didn't see anyone else acting more suspicious at the time. Now with more posts from him, I understand more about what he meant regarding the marine's killing and now he seems less suspicious. With this being my first online game, and my last live game being 3 years ago at summer camp (counselor, not a camper) getting a strong read on anyone is incredibly difficult especially in this first day.

Yes, jump on the bandwagon against me because, for the second time, Jeff says so without any justification. Read what I said before. It addressed your only concern, which was in itself minor at best.

Jeff, why do you think chucking grenades will find the Android? If a grenade is thrown somewhere and fails, it means either that there was a doctor save, or the SK was targeted. Now, the Marine knows who he attacked, and the doctor knows who he saved. For the whole town, or even just the Marine, to know who the SK is, both Marine and Doc would have to go public. That's suicide, and not worth it just to catch SK until Mafia is gone.

It's a numbers game. Throwing grenades right away just makes it less likely that they'll hit something important. And correct me if I'm wrong, but we don't learn anything about the people the grenades kill do we?

If you're going to post a top three list of people you find suspicious, at least give some reason why. Not giving a reason why you find them suspicious is utterly useless for the Crew. It is helpful for the Aliens though.

Why would the marine use a kamikazee if it was a night action. That makes no sense to me

Can anyone on the Vashta wagon put together a synopsis of the case? We have a lot of jumbled inputs and it's a lot easier to make an accurate judgment either way with less clutter. The other cases are pretty centralized in one area of the thread, but if anyone wants to put together their own case for their wagon, definitely do so with a day remaining.

Also, when he gets to a computer, I want see ghug's reads. Anyway, going to see Big Hero 6. Be back in a couple hours.

Vashta in a nutshell:

1. Wants a no lynch.
2. Spends a ton of time talking about the no lynch instead of scumhunting.
3. Refuses to vote even though it's clear that the no-lynch won't happen, which shows that he doesn't want to be connected to anyone
4. Posts some shitty reads, but only after being called out repeatedly by me for not having any useful discussion. Feigned stupidity regarding what I was saying so that his choice to post reads seemed like his own rather than a reaction.
5. Repeated reactionary responses.
6. Contributed to focusing discussion on power role discussion, again doing anything to keep discussion unproductive.

I'm out for now. When I return I'll discuss my thoughts on the front runners in the lynch race, whoever they may be.

Revisiting my views on Marine vs Android one last time:
Marine is the biggest threat to the Android (and Aliens) because of direct attacks, in particular the suicide frag grenade which can't be thwarted. This doesn't mean the Marine can help find the Android. That's just how someone interpreted my original meaning. Nonetheless, I do think the Marine should chuck the other grenades sooner than later. The kills, even if against Crew members, provides more information for the survivors. With some luck, the Android or Alien will be hit.

thdfrance's comments about the "numbers game" has softened my threat analysis toward him. I agree that chucking grenades with educated guesses (as my Geometry teacher used to say, "Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.") is smarter earlier than later. As the game progresses and there are fewer survivors, the Engineer is more likely to save the same person the Marine targets, neutralizing the attack. Use it or lose it.

##VOTE Mintyboy because I want him to talk a bit. Going to come back later and see if there's a wagon that isn't already doing what it's supposed to be.

Jeff, while I agree with the premise of Vig shoots sooner rather than later, once educated guesses can exist, I'm pretty sure as the game develops, the Doc will be protecting people the Vig won't even want to kill. The main reason for the Vig "shoot sooner" policy is that he could very well be dead reasonably soon.
