Trump to publish weekly list of crimes by immigrants
This will include crimes involving *legal* migrants, not just illegals. Does it feel like mid 1930s Germany yet, or what?

Odds on Trump Serving/Not Serving Full Term
Current odds on Trump being impeached/resigning: 11/10
Serving full term: 8/11

Hypothetical: You have to bet one. What's your money on?

I'm not going to link the site I acquired the information on. Would not want to be accused of promoting gambling. They can quickly be found using Google if you're interested in seeing other related "specials."

My money is on resignation before the end of his first term. If he is not impeached, he will simply resign due to his own boredom. This is not something he wants to do for the next four years, and he will come to that realization soon enough; it may have already happened.
ssorenn (0 DX)

Not a chance on resignation. Way too much of a narcissist. Impeachment, much more probable.
JamesYanik (548 D)

nah, he's got fall guys. Easy bet on seeing full term. don't you know how corruption works???
Matticus13 (2844 D)

Possibly. His ego is mighty. Is your $ on Impeachment ssorenn?
Ogion (3882 D)

It will in large measure depend on the economy come April of 2018. If it has collapsed, the midterms will be brutal and may put the democrats in charge. Otherwise, Trump could have the entire Democratic caucus assassinated and the Republicans wouldn't impeach him. They love Pence but the stain would be too much. They'll tell trump to go golfing and leave everything to Pence but not impeach him
Yoyoyozo (65 D)
30 Jan 17 UTC
I think he'll serve out his full term. republicans control the house and senate, and he's passing all kinds of right winged legislation and executive orders. Barring anything catastrophic, he's got the full 4 years I'd say rather certainly.
bo_sox48 (5202 DMod(G))
30 Jan 17 UTC
Mike Pence came on board as assassination protection and is probably quite hopeful that his boss will get himself kicked. I would bet on some attempt at impeachment, but it won't happen under a Republican Congress unless he really, really, *really* pisses them off.
TrPrado (461 D)
30 Jan 17 UTC
He's already made a mission of skipping past the Republicans in Congress and then asking them to foot the bill on his projects, so he's already racking up points to piss them off.
Matticus13 (2844 D)

Apparently there's a 98.1% chance that Hillary will win the election guise!

I sure hope those republicans respect the result! :D

Trump will serve his full 4 years and get crushed in 2020.

The only reason he won't get impeached is because Republicans in Congress put power ahead of country.
slypups (1889 D)
30 Jan 17 UTC
No way he resigns. Ego >>> boredom for him. While he'll do things worthy of impeachment, it won't happen. Four years and done, and then we start the clean up.
bo_sox48 (5202 DMod(G))
30 Jan 17 UTC
Yeah, Prado, pissing them off, sure, but enough for them to impeach him? Yeah right. Unless Paul Ryan and Mike Pence strike some kind of crazy deal and the rest of the party follows in a short-sighted quest to get away from Trump while simultaneously alienating a massive portion of their voter base, it won't happen. When I say really, really piss them off, I mean Trump will have to order the sanctioned assassination of one them or something - sarcasm, of course, but that's the drastic choice it would take to get the Republicans to unite in being rid of him.
Randomizer (722 D)
30 Jan 17 UTC
I'm going for impeachment since Trump wouldn't resign even if he suffered a medical problem that prevented him from serving. Here's hoping for a severe stroke so he can't talk.

What would be even more fun is Trump's voter fraud investigation shows ballot irregularities that cause him to lose electoral votes in enough states that he loses the election and it causes a constitutional crisis since the election has already been certified.
leon1122 (190 D)

I'm sure you mean 8 years, slypups.

Tolstoy (1962 D)

Trump will resign for some vague and undefined health reasons in 12-18 months.

That, or there will be a coup.

The Republican party would never survive impeaching Trump, I don't see him leaving voluntarily, and an assassination would just be too vulgar/blatant and would result in millions of GUN OWNERS rioting in the street (and the mechanics are complicated by the fact that Trump has his own personal security detail that doesn't answer to the SS).
TrPrado (461 D)
30 Jan 17 UTC
(+1)
They don't answer to SS? Is that legal?
ND (879 D)
30 Jan 17 UTC
He will be President for 8 years. Mike Pence will get 4 most likely afterwards. Trump is the Reagan of our era.
Tolstoy (1962 D)
30 Jan 17 UTC
From what I read, Trump has a Secret Service detail *and* his own private security. The SS certainly isn't happy about it, but Trump is no dummy and knows he won't survive without surrounding himself with people who are personally loyal to him.
Matticus13 (2844 D)

I'm pretty sure Regan mentioned something about tearing down a wall, not putting one up.
Tolstoy (1962 D)
30 Jan 17 UTC
I put Trump resigning at about 40%, a coup at 35%, and the odds of the coup being successful at about 60% - after the economy crashes again.

All numbers completely pulled out of my behind, of course.
Tolstoy (1962 D)
30 Jan 17 UTC
Matticus, the wall Reagan was talking about was to keep people in. Trump's wall would keep people out. It's a pretty simple distinction, and I'm shocked there are so many people who can't understand it.
Manwe Sulimo (325 D)
30 Jan 17 UTC
Not a bet I would take either way. Way too much uncertainty, either one could happen honestly. If they could get Nixon out of there, they can get Trump out. Who knows if it will actually happen though.
Matticus13 (2844 D)
30 Jan 17 UTC
I'm not convinced the wall isn't to keep us in Tolstoy. I understand what the Berlin Wall was for. Do you understand what trolling is?
Tolstoy (1962 D)
30 Jan 17 UTC
I do, and if you were trolling, you were far too subtle about it. You just came off as dim and ignorant, not witty and clever.

@Tolstoy ... I know this is Vice, but check it out. I thought about a coup too, but it seems like an awfully massive endeavor, more than in most nations.

Is Trump manipulating foreign currency markets?
Trump makes announcements that affect the Mexican Peso (usually negatively) and yet his financials are a mystery. Is it possible that he is personally trading on the markets that he can influence so much or am I being paranoid?

Consider Autumn turn. A player has a single original supply center. His last unit is somewhere else.
His last supply center is captured. He will be dead when Fall begins. However, he is in a position where he can capture one of my many supply centers. Will I lose that supply center in the Fall if he moves to that providence?
