Im actually more afraid of a Trump loss than I am him being President. These people want to literally start clandestine militias and challenge our very govt.

I legitmately wasnt trolling. I am actually afraid of the long drawn out process if Trump loses, his subsequent promises to put the country through are really frightening. he is seriously saying the election is rigged, and any outcome other than him winning is fraud. A sentiment echoed now by his supporters that they are so confident he will win that each and every state will be subject to investigations, mandatory recounts, ect. This is pure madness, he will literally turn his supporters against the government and against democracy just because he cant deal with losing.

I am most afraid of the following:

Clinton Presidency
Clinton Presidency
Clinton Presidency
Clinton Presidency

whats really weird, and trump does not realize this, but suppose he actually DID go through with this. You know who becomes Interim President until court cases, recounts and voter fraud disputes go through 50+ courtrooms, this could take months even years...? Senate Majority Leader right? or am I forgetting something.

That would depend on who wins the Senate, but its not out of the question it would be Bernie Sanders.
brainbomb (290 D)
21 Oct 16 UTC
im not afraid at all of Clinton losing. because the office of the Presidency is nowhere near as powerful as Trump seems to think it is. Obama has been in power 8 years and was only able to get Obamacare of all his big policy dreams. That tells you that the government doesnt actually give the President as much authority on things as you might imagine. sure theres executive orders, but theres also checks and balances.

@Brainbomb: No, it would be Speaker of the House: Paul, the traitor, Ryan.
brainbomb (290 D)

plus if Clinton loses there will be shock, but definetely not violence or riots. if/when Trump loses there will be mass shootings, rapes, public vandalism, threats of secession, fraud allegations, stock market fluctuations (yes look it up), and much much worse.
brainbomb (290 D)

ND, I would ACTUALLY be okay with Paul Ryan running the office of the Presidency. I respect him, fundamentally he is tolerable.

lol no Berlie wouldn't be the Majority Leader even if Dems won the Senate. Chuck Schumer is going to be the Senate Minority/Majority Leader. Bernie is an independent and thus can't be the Majority Leader of a Political Party in the Senate.
ND (879 D)
21 Oct 16 UTC
If Trump loses then people will be upset and there may be calls for a recount and depending on the level of 'rigging' and fraud you may see some disruptions, but there won't be shootings or any of the other things you suggest. The Republican Party stands for law and order and our people don't commit unlawful and chaotic acts.
brainbomb (290 D)

if you watch CNN, Trump supporters have been coordinating during the debates yesterday to yell as loud as they could to try to talk over Liberal commentators. but when a conservative commentator would talk the crowd would stop yelling.
ND (879 D)
21 Oct 16 UTC
So? CNN is basically the propaganda arm of the Clinton Campaign.
brainbomb (290 D)

ND, thats not true. I can show you documented statistics that show spikes in domestic violence in states like nebraska, texas, oklahoma when their football teams lose. The number of 911 calls regarding spousal and child abuse go up when even a sports team loses. Now imagine their darling political candidate loses, the next 4 more years of a democrat. People will absolutely take to violence because this is the crowd that Trump has gathered. You say "our people" dont do this, THOSE ARE RED STATES that riot over even less.

Shit when Ohio State loses do you know how many Ohioans take to vandalism and violence? they even do that when Ohio State WINS. I know its sports but its not a bad analogy because its about how people respond to something they want so strongly, and loss.
brainbomb (290 D)
21 Oct 16 UTC
ive even heard that numbers show the economy, especially the food service industry takes serious drops in revenue in red states after a bad sports game, or a bad election. people dont tip as generously, they worry more about money, and they become angrier.
ND (879 D)
21 Oct 16 UTC
Please show me stats based on solid evidence of civil disruptions, mass shootings, rapes, public vandalism, threats of secession, stock market allegations, etc for when Romney and McCain lost. Prove your point.

gaurantee you, not a single democrat ever went to jail after 2000 or 2004 for threatening to kill GW Bush.
ND (879 D)
21 Oct 16 UTC
Well, some suggest that out of all the states, Texas is the one state that can legally secede. This is because Texas was a Republic for ten years before joining the United States.

My unwashed, uneducated fear is a trump loss opens the way for a falling out and possible limited hostilities, direct or puppet based, with Russia. It's overwhelming obvious in my eyes what horse they're backing.

@Brainbomb: The liberals literally made a movie about assassinating the President. It was: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_a_President_(2006_film)

A Clinton President means war with Russia so just know that if you vote for her you are voting for the pro-war and pro-war with Russia (nuclear Armageddon) candidate.

Death of a President is a 2006 British docudrama political thriller film about the fictional assassination of George W. Bush, the 43rd U.S. President, on 19 October 2007 in Chicago, Illinois.

Question: Is the "Republic vs. Democracy" thing just an American thing?
I've heard Americans talk about how "America is a republic not a democracy". Using the standard definitions of those words it doesn't make any sense, however if you use the ridiculous definitions those people come up with than it is true. Does anyone outside of the US use this ridiculous dichotomy or is it just Americans?

People You Know
So, when it comes to friends and family, one should only play password protected games with them. But what about people I am meeting at face to face games in clubs in my state? What about if I start getting involved in the tournament scene? How do the more experienced players on here handle it? At what point does it become inappropriate to play in public games with people you have met through the game?

in a recent poll 7% of Americans value the continuity of government by supporting Gary Johnson for president. The other 93%? well they are split between a Guinea pig mounted atop a racist cantaloupe; and a half robot, half human she-devil.
