often we have members who are either
new to Diplomacy
or even just
new to webDiplomacy

and while there are many power users here who put in a great amount of friendship and effort in ensuring that their friends who join us get a fun romping experience, not everyone is so blessed.

In that spirit, I'd like to offer this thread for signups for anyone who's looking for a "New Player", "Beginner", "Test", "Learning", etc game. Every 6 people that sign up I'll start a new game with.

The only requirement is that you understand the time commitment:
A 36 Hour / Phase game takes about 3 months to complete (if you're winning, about a month if you're losing) and you'll need to check the site at least once a day. If there's a family or personal emergency or such it's understandable to need to drop out, in those cases contact me and I'll work out a solution.

Once you're in the game, all you do is play and have fun! And if you absolutely any questions about the site, the game of Diplomacy online or offline, just feel free to ask me. It's unranked so don't worry about performing poorly or conflicts of interest, I promise to give the right answer.

To sign up, simply copy and past the quotation and list into a new post and add your name to the list! This is an important skill in the forum...
