11 Jan 21 UTC Spring, 5: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
11 Feb 21 UTC Well played Carthage
11 Feb 21 UTC Greece, what was your fleet doing in Militus? Why wasn't it helping out? I tried supporting you a few times to Crete and each time you did something different and ended up holding in Militus for no reason?
11 Feb 21 UTC Thanks for the game everyone. Interesting early part with Rome very dominant but then got very tangled in other people territories while being vulnerable at home. That was the downfall of Rome.
I was lucky to make peace with Egypt just at that time so got a good share of the Roman SCs. Enough that I got greedy for the win. So apologies to Egypt for the stab.
And then fun tactical end game with Greece and Persia. Could have gone either way.
Thanks all
11 Feb 21 UTC I knew the stab was coming. No need for an apology. I was weak. The danged purple dude really tied me up. I could make no progress there. I hoped that with peace with carthage I could focus on the purple monster... I was totally ineffective. Good playing all.
11 Feb 21 UTC GG Carthage!
11 Feb 21 UTC Purple monster... Hahaha
12 Feb 21 UTC Idk why Greece and Persia didn't cooperate for a draw
12 Feb 21 UTC Haha, I was trying to. Greece kept his fleet docked in Militus and then moved to sinope instead of attacking Greece. If you review my orders, whenever I had a chance I would order support buy Greece did the wrong thing and went defensive against me. Not sure what was going on
13 Feb 21 UTC Oh yeah I see that I was just trying to be 'diplomatic' in my wording;)
