08 Jul 18 UTC Spring, 2000: [Russia]:I'm glad to see this game actually turned out! With 7 hours until the dead line I was certain it wouldn't. Well, good luck everyone.
08 Jul 18 UTC Spring, 2000: [Libya]:Thank you and likewise.
11 Jul 18 UTC Spring, 2001: [India]:Hello everyone. New India here interesting in picking up where the old one left off.
15 Jul 18 UTC Spring, 2002: [South-Africa]:New South Africa, what is this crazy pants map!
16 Jul 18 UTC Spring, 2002: [Russia]:Normally really fun and complicated though things went Sou- bad for South Africa.
16 Jul 18 UTC Spring, 2002: [South-Africa]:You could say that
16 Jul 18 UTC Spring, 2002: [South-Africa]:Hope the rest of the world doesn't freeze you out Russia
17 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: [Oz]:this is by far the best map, after classic. Way better than North America, Ancient med, modern is the worst with the build anywhere rule, so dumb.
17 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: [Libya]:Funny - Modern is my favourite. I also like Ancient. I've never played North America.
17 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: [Near-East]:I love this map, but it's not perfect. The SA center in Antarctica is an obvious mistake, same idea for USA. Still, all things considered this is my favorite too.
17 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: [Ghana]:I think merging Libya and Near-East into one country would be beneficial. Or even just Near-East trading Saudi Arabia for Turkey or Iran.
18 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: [Oz]:well, the best way for Libya and Near East to play, is to stand back to back the entire game, but they didn't do it like that...

USA is the most difficult stating position, in my opinion.
18 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: [South-Africa]:What about Pacific Russia? It looks pretty dam difficult
18 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: [Oz]:Pac Russia is actually a pretty good starting position.
18 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: [Oz]:It's true that there are imbalances on the map, but so many possibilities as well, it really is a great map to play on.
18 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: [Brazil]:Yeah USA literally has no chance if he doesn't ally one of the Canadians, and both Canadians get so much more if they ally each other to divide US up lol...

I also think Brazil has the upper hand against Argentina if both are of equal skill level because Argentina is closer to SA and Colombia and Venezuela is closer to Brazil, while Brasilia and Rdj has better synergy with each other, compared to Scr and Bai lol
18 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: [Brazil]:and I rarely saw Kenya lose in Africa
18 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: [Oz]:Kenya is by far the best start on the map, true indeed. It's because his primary opponent only starts with 2 of his 3 units nearby, plus it's easily to attack from wide to narrow on a landmass. Another big problem for USA, he has to fight from narrow to wide, very difficult.
18 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: [USA]:I’m going to agree that USA has a tough starting position :-/

If Canadians decide/realize they are a good team, USA has no shot.
18 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: [Quebec]:Works both ways....there are 3 in a circle, any two can take the third out. Its one area on this map where you have to come out of the gate in a solid alliance or you are the dead one.
