If I'm not mistaken you cannot make a WTA game if you have less than 100 points.

Otherewise, yes, WTA is closer to the original.

I am going to play any WTA game and only WTA games from now on.

I find that WTA on this site just usually results in people discussing 2, 3, and 4 way draws by about 1904. No one takes the initiative to win overall.

I disagree. Yes, many people discuss draws early in the game. But this is ment, in my opinion, to create a mutual goal with a prospective ally.

Sometimes, the opportunity arises to actually act upon that draw, and sometimes, you'll find a chance to go for the solo, or to leave a given player out of it.

This happened to me recently in the leagues game, I was sincerely talking about a three way draw, FRI (I was F), and then Italy proposed to let Russia out of it. I did the math and realized that I could do it without risking a win by another player, so I went ahead. Then, at a point, I found myself able to go for the win, and I did.

I wasn't insincere either time when I spoke about a draw, and that was how I built succesful alliances that I abandoned when the opportunity arised.

If I had played a worse game, or the other players had played better, a tactical stalemate would have arrived that would have forced us all to actually execute the draw we had talked about earlier in the game.

huh i didnt know you need more then 100 points to make a WTA game, hopefully some of my games will end soon and ill have the numbers then.

I'm just tired of playing games where people make stupid moves without taking the bigger picture in context. In one of my games, Turkey (a player with over 900 points and who i thought would know better) has constantly attacked me every turn every year since the beginning of the game. I've spent so much time trying to fend him off that its left me no units to do anything else. The result now being that France is rolling through the map with virtually no opposition.
