I, as many of you know, adore philosophy, study it devoutly, read, listen to mp3 lectures, attend classes, write on it, hope even one day to be a playwright/writer/philosopher myself. I am near the end of my 5th book read, Locke's "Second Treatise" and having read 2 Nietzsches and 2 Platos and being in an Ethics class and wanting an ethical philosopher- suggestions?

I'm going out of town for a week, and I won't have computer access. If I hit 'pause' in my games, will they pause, or does every other player need to agree to the pause? Is it considered acceptable to pause a game for a week?
What about in a game of anonymous gunboat, where I can't even contact the other players to explain.

Just curious but, what board do you have if you do. I have the one shown on the Diplomacy World Homepage.

I know that ghost rating isn't integrated into webdip, but what about a "manual-ish" system that could prove to be helpful?

There was a site wich looked exactly the same as webDiplomacy, was also based on phpDiplomacy, with a smaller community but witch lots of variants. It started with 'g'. Can't find it any more. Do you now what site I mean?
