Re: Official start of the Nexus Diplomacy Tournament
Due to the size of this tournament and because we'd love to see people participate, anyone making the final board will receive 500 as a prize. If you then finish in the top 3 you'll get an additional 1,000, 750, or 500 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively as well as a banner for your accomplishment. Please represent webdip well!

Thanks jmo! We've heard quite a bit about the prowess of the webDip playerbase, and we're excited to watch you in action!

Re: Official start of the Nexus Diplomacy Tournament
I see a lot of people joining the server but few of them subscribed to games yet. Maybe it's good to know that you need to fill in your favourite platform (webdip) and username in there (in here) into the #tournament-matchmaking channel. It's an empty channel but we, mods, see what you did there.
We do.
We harvest the names and get you in games.
There is one waiting to start now. I might need a sub in there so if you feel ready for a game I can get you in one right now!

Re: Official start of the Nexus Diplomacy Tournament
I fully recommend it, it’s a good tournament so far. They’ve managed to get a pretty diverse group of good talent from a number of sites (new faces are always good) and I like the continual commentary and tournament wide updates on the discord channel. Worth jumping into if you’re looking for a quality game.
It’s also nice to have the option to play here on your home site if you don’t feel like having to learn a new interface, although if you do want that fresh batch of faces in your games the host site options are pretty user friendly.

Re: Official start of the Nexus Diplomacy Tournament
Appreciate the support VI, we've got 2 webDip games up and running now, and an ever-increasing number of players on the server. We've been heavily represented thus far by Backstabbr and Conspiracy players, and would love to see WebDip players stake their claims to online Diplomacy dominance. Come bring a friend, input your name into #tournament-matchmaking, and compete for the top board!
Re: Official start of the Nexus Diplomacy Tournament
Considering trying.other platforms, but I'm just do used to the webdip look the others kinda tilt me
Re: Official start of the Nexus Diplomacy Tournament
You can play on WebDip! Currently WebDip is tied with Backstabbr as the second biggest platform in the tournament
