I'm still not quite agreeing with bozo, so here's my take on Tom's D1 votes:

Tom was the first person to vote damo. There's a part of me that still thinks he was doing a similar distancing play to what I think Chaqa did, because I think he could have known that his reason for scumreading damo was weak and people would ignore it, and he also got off damo's wagon once I joined it. But, he really defended his case against damo. If he didn't want it to stick, he could have just said it was a gut read and I don't think damo would have gotten as much pressure. He'd been strongly townreading xorxes so when he moved off summit's wagon it would have been extremely suspicious for him to vote xorxes, so Tom probably wouldn't have voted for xorxes regardless of his allignment. BUT, his vote for damo put him ahead of worcej, who was tied with damo 2-2 at the time. I think that if Tom were scum he could have just as easily made worcej the competing wagon rather than damo.

I disagree that Tom's push on damo could have been made because others were scumreading him. Tom started the wagon and brought a lot of attention to damo. I'm not willing to completely townclear Tom based on this, but Tom's D1 votes combined with the rest of his play cause me to strongly lean towards town!Tom.

Although, then there was this post:

Good job guys. There is hope. In my eyes this nearly townclears kgray because of D1
Which made me think he could be pocketing me. If Tom is scum who knows I'm town, then making the argument that I'm almost certainly town because I did a similar thing to what he did could be a trick to get me to see him as towny in return... so I'm not completely convinced, but I really think the chances of Tom being scum over Bunny or Vecna are very low.

##vote Chaqa

I do appreciate the asinine comments of me potentially being scum, if only because it means scum will kill kgray over me if we lynch scum today.
Tom, if I am scum, who is my teammate?

I don't know how to make you guys see you're about to lose this for us by voting for me.
Bozo perhaps. You certainly seemed scummier than all hell tying the damo lynch. And it makes sense as you were going to probably be lynched after damo anyway, so there wasn’t really any negative consequence to blatantly saving damo like that
Do you have a case on bozo? The closest thing I saw was that he was scumreading you for weak reasons and his votes look really bad in hindsight. I agree that he's sort of flying under the radar, but I reread him and didn't see much that stood out to me as scummy.

I think his bringing up damo and Chaqa's posts from when they were scum was basically cherry picking, since they did similar things as town. And I think bozo's criticism of Chaqa letting D1 tie is slightly hypocritical, since he was obviously around at the EOD, and I don't think bozo's point that Chaqa expressed his concern for a tie while bozo didn't means that town!bozo would be any more okay with a tie than town!Chaqa. But, damo did tie it at the last minute and it looks to me like bozo cross-posted with damo's vote.

Overall there's really not much I'm seeing that makes me think bozo's scum here, even looking for it on reread....

Yes. I’m at work but will try to post before NK - but no promises.

Admittedly, a large part is that I’m skeptical of The case on Neph/Bunny and I’ve towncleared you.

Look at D1 damo. I expect damo may bus D1 as JOAT. We know xorx and summit were town. He then voted bozo with around 25hrs left, and then Neph with under 4hrs left. The bozo vote would be the more logical bus because it was so early in D1. The Neph vote seems like damo trying to get another town wagon going in case xorx doesn’t take off. Remember that I was strongly defending xorx at the time.

D2, bozo joins the Neph wagon, making it 4 votes for xorx and 3 for Neph halfway through the day. This could potentially be scum trying to create two viable town wagons to protect JOAT. Damo even moves off xorx to Neph with three hours left. Granted it could be bussing to protect the more powerful scum role, but to me the move off town xorx to town Neph seems more likely.

Bozo and damo eventually follow townclear foodcoats back to xorx and he is lynched.

Then bozo starts his questioning of me for pretty dubious reasons imo, before landing on damo.

To me, damos history makes bozo likelier scum than Bunny/Neph.

This discussion is all irrelevant as we're going to lose anyway.

Well, if that’s true you can blame yourself for intentionally tying a wagon

Intentionally: adverb: deliberately or on purpose

I had no way of knowing damo was the JOAT.

I’m saying, your assumption I’m scum means we have already lost and youre all letting scum win.

No way of knowing?? Did you read all the speculation we had where we said it was likely damo was JOAT??? Or did you just disregard that?

Everyone was saying the double vote was going to be used the NEXT day.

Everyone was saying that I WAS THE JOAT.

Turns out we still suck at town, still.

I'm honestly out of energy to try to convince you all otherwise. The only one even remotely listening is Bunny.

This is actually fair somewhat. I got my days confused. We were hard pushing damo being JOAT after the double vote was used.

My bad

But the point remains that getting the lynch to within 1 with a double vote possibility is either scum or bad town play.
