this I've heard before, that Brits prefer to drink malt

Wonderful beverages are made from malt. Beer, Whisky...
I became a lager brewmaster for 12 years after University & know all about the wonderful things you can do with malted barley. Rye not so much...

I am more of a rum guy, so my tastes run towards a sweeter liquor. I did try Cask & Crew's Walnut toffee whiskey and have not found anyone who has tried it and doesn't like it.
