Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
At some point close to EOD Chaqa, Kgray, Jamiet and Dargo all voted for me. Would the scum team be so obvious?
Anyway, reading EOD again, get me back to Kgray.
But then why the no kill? There is a lot of WIFOM involved.

Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
The no kill probably implies a lack of funds for scum since I doubt they would no kill just to confuse if they were holding funds. This would seem to imply no white flag. In the following analysis I will make the following assumptions:
a) scum recruited (given all the big roles were town)
b) no white flag
c) they didn't go into debt (too risky)
So after Chaqa and the recruit they had a maximum of 12 to spend (90-80+2). Now we must remember there have been 2 roleblock claims and there may have been rolecop use (the seth kill?) which eat into this maximum of 12.
I will consider the following 3 scenarios separately:
1) Both RB claims true
2) Both RB claims false
3) One RB claim true and 1 false
Scenario 1) Both RB claims TRUE
Implies both FH are town and scum only had a maximum of 8 available so the possible teams are
Original Cost Recruit
i) BD 4 RM
ii) BR 5 DM
iii) MD 4 RB
iv) MR 5 BD
v) DR -3 BM
v) is rejected as there would have been no need for the no kill
Considering FV is a more attractive purchase than PV ii) and iv) are rejected and assuming Macca an unlikely recruit we are left with
BDR MDR MDB If we reject rdr due to yesterday's voting we are left with Macca and Darg with Bunny as recruit. This would imply 4 credits used for rolecopping which seems reasonable.
Scenario 2) both RB claims FALSE
Implies both FH scum with a max of 12 for scum to spend. Buying 2 FH at start costs 20 so in this scenario 1 FH must be the recruit. Possibles teams are
i) JB 10 K
ii) JM 10 K
iii) JD 4 K
iv) JR 5 K
v) to viii) as above swapping J and K
All are possible though I discount those with rdr. Teams i) and ii) only allow for 1 rolecop so iii) is more likely.
Scenaro 3) 1 RB TRUE & 1 RB FALSE
Implies 1 FH is town and 1 FH is scum and scum had 10 max to spend. Possible teams are
i) JB 10 RDM
ii) JM 10 BRD
iii) JD 4 RBM
iv) JR 5 BDM
v) to viii) as above swapping K for J
Omitting rdr and assuming Macca not the recruit we are left with
JBD JMB JMD KBD KMB KMD all of which leave no room for rolecopping
and
JDB KDB which are therefore more likely
Summary
The most likely teams are:
Scenario 1 MDB
Scenario 2 JDK
Scenario 3 JDB or KDB
Common theme throughout is D

Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
I love how we're all assuming I wasn't recruited. You're correct in saying that, and from the scum perspective it's the right choice, but it's still interesting.
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
Due to your relative inexperience I think it unlkely.
Btw I tracked you precisely because your role is spent making you a likely use for the night kill if you are on scum team.
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
Can you explain that first sentence again please. I don't follow.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 1:14 amWell, we are still on milo (not consideringthe Doc save, that with a sure RH isn't something we can count), so a policy vote on Dargo is really weird Jamiet.
Do you think either Chaqa or Dargo are likely recruit candidates? Because this is the onlyv way I see for scum to have both TS and FV.
I think the recruit is either Kgray or Durga/Bunny. The no kill makes me less confident Kgray is scum.

Where did I say it was a policy vote? Yes I scumread him, as I explained to Kgray!rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 1:14 amWell, we are still on milo (not consideringthe Doc save, that with a sure RH isn't something we can count), so a policy vote on Dargo is really weird Jamiet.

Dude I townread you now, but why are you putting words in my mouth?

I assumed it was a typo and he meant "RB" but I'd like him to confirm this.damo666 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 10:44 amCan you explain that first sentence again please. Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
Hi all. I don’t need to drop out, but I do need to disappear for a bit. My mom is having an adverse reaction to recent surgery. And she’s also my childcare. I’ll let you know if things change and I need to drop.
Quick thoughts based on what I’ve read so far:
1) RBs are for trackers too. Now with smaller pool and less clear who I’ll be tracking it’s more crucial
2) I don’t know that money was only reason for the no kill. Leaving more people available for a miskill and us with less information is also probably a motivation.
Back later.

Also, if someone could summarize the translation of recent FLUM posts so I don’t have to dig I’d appreciate it.

I assume it means kgray and darg are his top 2 scumreads in that order but that's only an assumption.

That's my guess, too. He's scumread me from early. It's one of the reasons I doubt his other reads.
Hope things are ok, bunny

@Rdrivera: You're my joint top townread, but you've posted less frequently today than Fluminator and he's a ghost that isn't allowed to speak. Let us have your thoughts, please? Help us find another scum today. This is the day for you to make some effort. Town needs you.
