This post bothers me a bit. Why would when I submit a night end be their big holdup among all the things that have happened this game? The recency bias is astounding.

Oh, and ##vote Damo now I guess
@rivera: if you’re town it’s up to you now.

The Balki townslip ame after you declared having submitted a night end. My main pause for thought. But rdr killing Balki makes no sense so I conculde it must be you.
If rdr turns out to be scum then congrats to him on masterful endplay.

THE ENDING:
Three men, each a potential suspect, stood in the main street, eyeing each other uneasily.
The portly half-mexican fellow spoke first, his long black moustache moving as he spoke, his hand near his pistol.
"It has to be one of us," he began, then frowned, gesturing at the others. "One of YOU! One of you has the blood of all those townsfolk on his hands. And my dog too, ain't seen my dog in three days. Damn Jessups!"
The smart, bowler-wearing older gentleman snorted, stroking his own neatly-shaped moustache. His own fingers flexed, close to his gun.
"You sure? I watched you hammering those fence posts the other day, you could hardly keep 'em straight. One post was leanin' 7.4 degrees to the right, the next one skewed 14% the other way. Reckon you can barely see past yer nose. One of those damn Jessups could'a served your mutt to ya, wrapped up in one of those tortillas you like to stuff yourself with, an' you'd hardly notice. Slipshod work like that suggests youse either blind, or ya just ain't a man accustomed to labor. Maybe you got somethin' to hide?"
As they snarled at each other, the third man smiled politely, and spoke calmly.
"Calm now, boys. Lookie here, I'll tell you one thing. It surely can't be me now, can it? I'm the most innocent, harmless, vanilla-scented fellow in this whole town. I'm known for my honesty. Folks might say it's my trade mark. In fact, I ain't even carrying a gun."
So saying, he pulled back his long coat. They could see he wore no gun belt or holster. The first two men fixed their scowls back on each other.
"Go for yer guns, scum!"
"No, you go fer YOUR guns!"
They both went for their guns. Two shots rang out, almost in unison.
Chaqa has died - he was Chipotle Zapatista, the Vanilla Townsperson!
Damo has died - he was Clyde Remington, the Vanilla Townsperson!
W. W. Jessop III sighed and turned slowly away. It was time to move on. Turns out there was no gold in these here hills. Not anymore. But there was a new racket, one that stood to make him plenty of money, if he played it right.
His thoughts were interrupted as a trio of shocked townswomen ran toward him.
"Sir, sir, what happened?"
He gave them a wry smile.
"A terrible disagreement, ladies. Nothin' to do with me, as you can plainly see. But while I have your attention, I can't help notice you all seem a little pale, stressed, over-wrought, even. Now as it happens, lookie here, I have just the thing that'll cure what ails ya. A bottle of Doctor Jessop's patented nerve tonic. Just the ticket, and just one dollar apiece. Whadda ya say, ladies?"
RDRIVERA has SURVIVED. He was W. W. Jessop III, the QUACK DOCTOR.
GAME HAS ENDED
The MAFIA have won M77!

Congratulations to the Mafia team.
Hard luck to the town team.

Re: MAFIA 77: RETURN TO THE WEST [GAME THREAD] - [HIDDEN]
Sorry Chaqa abd Damo, I thought I won't get this one after Balki's slip.
@Chaqa - I think you played really well this game and I was really afraid you got me yesterday. Anything I said about your play was just part of my strategy.

Thanks GMs
Sorry town
At lest we don't have to suffer the TM rdr claim any more.
And I didn't connect the dots that it was Bozo who pointed out the previous use of 'will' which made me change my initial 'gotcha'.

Yes. I was killing you and hoping Chaqa and Balki go for each other throats.damo666 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 12:19 pmDid you change your nk?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 12:16 pmSorry Chaqa abd Damo, I thought I won't get this one after Balki's slip.

But Balki's slip was too genuine and I fear he might catch me
