I'm coming round to the unexpected busser theory but who?
Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
And I've changed my mind about food, I have come to the conclusion he's town.

I'm going to reread it the bot this time, but I'm going to ask either making a mistake or this being ploy puts me as scum in any world, especially it has put a wagon on me. I'm stating this generally for everyone.damo666 wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 10:17 amLoW
I suspect the "reread 3 times" is out of date and explains the scumread of deadtown. Continuing to do so indicates being a long way behind.
This is giving him the benefit of the doubt.
When he next posts I want him to declare whether he was has caught up. Ofc if he hasn't he may not have read this so if there is no such declaration please badger him to say how far he has read to.
Once caught up I'd like to see a revised readlist.
Sparta - townpoints for that analysis.
I'm prioritizing this morning's posts, however.

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
Well, you can say it better then me. To me the only thing that isn´t on Bozo scum meta his game is he isn´t tunneling anyone.ghug wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 12:38 amWell, nitpicking me is his town meta, to be fair. I can't remember many times he's townread me.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 12:12 amOk, finally catched up and even have time to look a bit at VCA.
I think Bona and Sweet are town, can´t see they bussing this way the GF with planty chance to bail out. Until half and hour they are the only votes on Will and probably any of them moving out will kill the wagon. Then I voted and I know I am town. Then king voted, he need to cast a vote as he was on unvote, so it could be a buss. Same is valid for Worcej, Bunny and Ghug, so I am not giving a pass for any of them because of this vote.
I also believe Ghug and Jamiet RB claims as I don´t remember Mafia ever making a a fake RB claim here. The one that wasn´t roleblocked by BB is town, the question is which as I can see Brain Jailing both. Anyway, not willing to vote any of them.
I think both newbies are good wagons, for different reasons. Lord isn´t really puting any real effort and even thinking is a kind of a coin flip I don´t think having him at the end is a good choice. Sparta on the other side is playing but seems to be more focused in surviving then catching scum, which is usually a scum tell.
I also suspect Bozo because his play today isn´t what I expect from town Bozo. Picking small things from Ghug, being obnoxius and not voting isn´t his town meta.

So, why did you forget to vote?Lord of Words wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 1:28 amWith respect, if I was scum, life happens, but wouldn't it be weird for me to miss a vote, especially one where my alleged teammate was on the chopping block? And conspicuously being absent wouldn't accrue to my benefit either.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 11:45 pmSeriously, here is a player who has told us that he is an experienced Mafia player on other forums.
He has not indicated that he has any problems logging in or posting.
Most of his posts, it remains, are about promising to post in the future, which he continues to avoid doing.
VOTE HIM PLEASE

Your wagon was due to lack of activity. The mistake is bizarre. It can be read as a ploy - "I don't know what's going on, I can't possibly therefore be scum."Lord of Words wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 11:23 amI'm going to reread it the bot this time, but I'm going to ask either making a mistake or this being ploy puts me as scum in any world, especially it has put a wagon on me. You are allowed to post images but you are not allowed to screenshot any private messages from the GM or anything like that.Lord of Words wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 1:23 amJust checking, but we can link screenshots here, yes?
It would save me the trouble of linking Will's read list here and speed things up for me. I've reread this thread three times now and I'm not really trying to hunt for it on mobile.

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
Because Bozo usually have teeth when he is town and investigating, he asks and pushes and make cases. Here he is just asking questions but isn´t folowing, isn´t pushing and it looks like as he is just trying to mimick his town play. Look at his ISO. He started the day asking a lot of questions. People answerered and he juist said "Ok", to most of the answers.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 1:10 amHe comes across as what I would expect from detective Bozo.
At this very moment perhaps he is being a bit annoying about a thing or two, but I don't understand why anyone would seriously vote him for it. I guess bunny is tunneled but I don't get rdr's vote.

I kind of wasn't; had about an hour spent on D1 and this D up to this point. Today should be a bit better.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 11:35 amI provided a detailed explanation.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 2:17 amI feel like this is the first game where I’ve seen the use of “anchor.” What is that?

Wait a moment.Lord of Words wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 4:46 amFoodcoats is the player I’m suspicious of because he was advocating for Will until the last minute at the end of Day 1. Other than that, I don’t have too much on him at the moment.
He re-read the thread three times and yet Foodcoats is alive in his read list?

Intelligent questioning from Sweet.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 5:00 amThat's an awful lot of town reads.Lord of Words wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 4:48 amI'll generate further reads on the remaining three players, but I feel confident enough in Vecna, Bozo, and Bunny to put that off for the morning.
Could you tell me more about your opinion on Food and damo's connection?

Uh. And this as well.Lord of Words wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 4:46 amDrFidelis, I’m having some trouble reading at the moment, so I’m really going to asking them direct questions for the remainder of the today to home in on them.
Good luck getting DrFidelis to answer your questions given that he subbed out over 48 hours ago and his replacement was killed by the Mafia.

i don't understand the thought process behind thissweetandcool wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 3:41 amWell, you're right.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 3:33 amthe post in question has a model of a town player who plays to survive by refusing to claim in order to avoid flak, and a model of a scum player who seeks towncredit by claiming it. how does that make sense? would not a scum player seek to mimic the town play, and could not a town player seek to be honest about mistakes?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 3:16 am
Well, I wanted to organize my thoughts around how the bee sting affair could happen. So I found I could not come up with a reason as to why Town would claim the kill. However, I found that Mafia may decide to claim it. Combined with the fact that it was so conveniently awful, it made me think damo was Mafia.
it just seems to me a pre-fitted conclusion with warped logic
My logic around the RB was poor on multiple occasions. Which I recanted after hearing more from others.
I was also mad at damo and wanted to scumread him at the time, so my warped logic was biased against him from the start. It's unsurprising I managed to reach the poor conclusion that I did.
I didn't do it because I was scum, I made these mistakes because I was emotional and fog brained. Evidence of this is that I didn't end up campaigning for damo's death. Scum sweetandcool would absolutely be doing so, unless damo happened to be my teammate.
