As the GM, I am sorry that this setup turned out to be somewhat town-sided. Of course that was not the intention. I will comment on the assumed balance of the game, and how that did not hold up in the face of real gameplay, in due course.

In the meantime, I hope some of you had fun, and I am sorry that some of you may not have done. Please remember that I am a human being, and bear that in mind in your comments.

It was not exactly the most balanced setup, but I think the angels literally never doing anything helped town a lot.
It was unclear exactly when action could be taken

I thought perhaps that you would ignite on N4, so it was my thought that we should sneak in a kill power at EoD4 so we can kill off as many town as possible

But you popped it early and then, well, see my earlier post
We had the ability to ignite multiple times. We planned to do a second one tonight.

I feel like the big mistake was killing Vecna. Brain talked me into it
That one was very bizarre, I confess. But ultimately not too strange to pop a N1 shot, regardless.

I enjoyed it a lot until today.

I was convinced ghug was scum because of how he was simping for DrFidelis.
That is how I felt too.

I think what threw ghug off was that I was too focused on the "six minutes" part of my argument, rather than the fact Dr.Fidelis bothered to throw out a nuanced opinion despite being so overwhelmed that he wasn't participating in the game.

Voting without a justification would have been much more inline with the psychology he was claiming.

No. It's not alright. I hold myself to a higher standard.

I will not GM again in 2024.

Snowy sorry for delay. I thought there might be a pathway if we got you a kill and there were 2 judge kills. It was making my head hurt. In trying to confuse the thread I confused myself

Yes. Blame each other. Feel the power of your hatred. Let the dark side consume you.
To be clear, the angels don't blame the judges for any failing

I made an executive decision to not drag this game into day phases where the vote is tied until fire kills someone, then we play kingmaker between 3 parties. They can hardly be blamed for how they played
even IF judges and angels worked together to vote out town, the game wouldn't necessarily end in any of their favour, since the town can just vote 'no-kill' and not break the balance between the maf-teams

Dude you are fine
Im not mad
Well, I grew up in the fallout from the riots in the '90s
Static cranes stand lifeless, castin' shadows on the town
I stare out that hallowed ocean as if to pick a fight
For thе dreams my old man dreamt for me lay on thе other side, yeah

judge fire had only one left, so could only decide to either go for one townie, or for an angel.

Thus could not break the balance in their favour. If town just doesn't take sides in the maf war, the game never ends.

I ruined the game for my team.

I claimed a guilty when I didnt need too
I also retracted into a lost position
I then claimed scum openly

And in none of these things did I ever manage to open a lane of opportunity for either scumteam.

I ruined the game and blew it all for everyone involved. Entirely on me

I think if you didn't retract there a good chance Will dies there
His reaction was epileptic.

But honestly, I think you made the hero play to openly claim and call to coordinate, and we dropped the ball.

Its not that it was bad it was that worcej came in at a super inconvenient time and that scum teams couldn’t coordinate
