Well, I grew up in the fallout from the riots in the '90s

Did you PM both GMs?

I believe he later mentioned that was the problem, he forgot to put both.

Food's wagon is gaining traction. Sometimes I think town can run ahead of itself and talk itself into a decision UNLESS there is incredible hard proof.
I'm interested in what's going on with lfischl. Why didn't you stick with what the plan was?

Re: Mafia 85: Return from Lockdown
No it means Brainbomb is a role which causes him to see the result that you get.babyspice666 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 22, 2024 11:39 pmhow??? someone correct me if im wrong but i think it is impossible based on the roles that we got the same result
the only roles that give back a name are:
DaDa Driver: You drive people around. You return the target of your target.
Ruber Driver: You are the Ruber Driver. You drive people to and from where they need to go. You return the target of your target.
Pollster: You are the Pollster. You poll your target and find out how they voted in the last election, and return who they voted for in the previous day phase.
I got my response as just which means that i must be pollster, because no one couldve targeted just bc he died - so you can't claim to be either of the other two roles
so that means you must be lying for some reason?

Re: Mafia 85: Return from Lockdown
I am happy to flip Lfischl today. My only problem personally with doing so is that should he flip scum, that will cause you to scumread me even harder. I am not scum but I suspect that Lfischl is. You are actually making it harder for me to vote one of my scumreads.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2024 12:58 amI think brain might be right about Jamiet, who chose a safe bus to break the tie.
@brainbomb, I really prefer lfischl here, but am willing to go Jamiet.
Either way, flipping one will be incredibly telling and helpful for town.
I've said this before, but I'm just not going to intervene next time there is a tie. Apparently breaking ties is scummy now.

If both you and Babyspice are telling the truth you pretty much have to be the Postal Worker.brainbomb wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2024 1:00 amactually specifically I would have to be mailman therebrainbomb wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2024 1:00 amHow do you explain my result and baby spices result unless one of us is mailmanfoodcoats wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2024 12:58 am
This is one of the most important claims so far because it produces the narrowest range of possible roles for D&W: Mafia Corrupt Cop, Mafia Hacker, or Mail Man. He is not the PI because Bunny was.
D&W is 66% scum mechanically, and all 12 other claims so far could also be the Mail Man (I am pretty sure at this stage that basically anyone with any claim could be the Mail Man, until we do second level triage). Overall it is quite likely D&W is scum if he is telling the truth (and if he is lying, I'm not sure why).

Re: Mafia 85: Return from Lockdown
Under what scenario could babyspice be lying? Im not saying its impossible but, that seems completely impossible.

Re: Mafia 85: Return from Lockdown
It seems like today Jamie and food are the most likely wagons. Both have had a huge presence in the thread, for better or for worse.
Jamie has spent a lot of time arguing and tunneling (particularly with brain). This is unfortunately something he generally does as either alignment. I feel like Jamie has felt somewhat more obtuse on a greater number of things than usual. I feel like as town he'll often tunnel hard into one thing, whereas this game has felt like he's turned a lot of things into fights.
Food has led quite well so far for the most part. He was one of the main pushers for the massclaim which looks pretty good, except that some scum were almost certainly pushing the massclaim. I'm not sure I've liked food's vote progression on D1 but I may be reading into it too much (especially considering he voted me).
Overall I probably prefer the Jamie wagon over food at the moment based on what I've seen of them. (Although once you factor in the possible lfischl/food split on doctor and the fact that Jamie's claim would've been pretty silly as scum, I'm not so sure).

Just looking at the questions Biunny asked during initial setup.
1. If the Doctor's target is not attacked, does that return a "success" or "failure" message to the Doctor? 1. Failure. They didn't do anything
Ah, I kind of see how that works.
But this is wonky.
And I'm sus on the fact that lfishl didn't target me. I thought we had all agreed so why deviate?

This why we need the full two days.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2024 2:00 pmIt's painfully obvious to me that the game is moving faster than I can keep up.
I'll read back but I want to know how Food has become a wagon.
ISo Kak and bozo have put out some very heavy theories based on claims. How certain of them are we?
Also, with the roles and the deductions that will be clear as we get into N2 actions, should this game be over somewhat quickly?
I think I have to leave all the role/mech stuff to others and trust that they're acting in town's interests and not an overlyimpressive mafia plan. I'll stick to the stuff that comes easier to me.

I can’t see any pro-town reason that you’re withholding for

Can anyone explain a mechanical scenario where Food and Jamie are both mafia. or is that simply not possible under present circumstances
