Breaking rules of some sort or another. If you have any specific names you're curious about you can generally look at their profile and see the ban reason, those are normally pretty accurate.

Re: Make me an admin
I had a coworker get banned three days into his first game for “repeat multi” and we were not really sure what triggered that. He is talking to mods via email about it, but what triggers that ban?

based on the name of the ban, I would assume either his email is already linked to another account (hence "multi"ple accounts which are "repeat"edly banned ), or someone else tried to use the same email for their account and the system was a few days late in catching it. Bugs do happen occasionally
Re: Make me an admin
No, that doesn't happen. The system will not accept the same email twice.SirThursday wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2019 8:23 pm... or someone else tried to use the same email for their account and the system was a few days late in catching it. Bugs do happen occasionally

We don't go into detail about our methods as that would help cheaters who try to beat the system. Without having looked at the specifics of this case, I can say that "repeat multi" means one person owning multiple accounts (which we don't allow) repeatedly. Your coworker will indeed have to respond to some emails from us.
