Re: Djokovic took 15th grand slam
Theim is Austrian, not Australian. Don't worry Kakarroto, it's a common mistake, although Trumptoad made it as well, so I'm not sure that being in his company is anything to be happy with.

Aren't they the same thing? I mean isn't that why we keep seeing pictures of giant burning forests high in the mountains filled with screaming koalas in tiny little lederhosen?

Exactly Ogion. I think Kakarroto is possibly a hybrid critter created by mating a kangaroo with a parrot...?
Re: Djokovic took 15th grand slam
I like that theory. It's not how it happened (I think?), but I like that theory.

Re: Djokovic took 15th grand slam
I don't know how many matches everything looked like certain defeat and then Novak somehow turned things arround and scored great wins. And all that in important maches where stakes were so high. I have no doubts he is mentaly the strongest tenis player all times.
When he retire he should start playing diplomacy. :)

Re: Djokovic took 15th grand slam
I was at Indian Wells in 2011 when the Djoker finally broke through and beat Fed and Nadal. You could tell something was different from then on. Today's victory was extraordinary not only because of the comeback, but also because he did it after taking the punishment of playing Nadal in the semis. (If you missed the third set of that semifinal, check it out. It's some of the best tennis ever.)

Another GS for Djokovic, good play!
But if Italy win Euro Cup finals against England they will not be too sad for Beretini.

And that's 20! How many overall will it be for Djoker, 22, 23, 25...?
Re: Djokovic took 15th grand slam
For me he is the sport icon even if he never win anything in future years.
Novak has great personality and is great profesional at the same time. And he achieved so much despite being looked down upon since he is coming from small balkan country.
In short...go Nole, go. :)
