Re: What is the best country in bot games?
I just finished a very interesting game : http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=265151.
The first country to get his 7th center was Turkey in Autumn 1911, and the first one to get his 8th center was Austria in Autumn 1914 !

Misnamed territory
Hi guys,
In the World Diplomacy IX map, there is a territory named "Sea of Othoksk", while its exact name is "Sea of Okhotsk".
cf. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_of_Okhotsk.

Re: First Time Player confused about how orders work
Hi and welcome, the orders are solved automatically in WebDip. For some time now, there are even bots that are able to play (I mean submit intelligent moves, of course not negociate), which is far more difficult to implement ! Once the orders are solved (you're notified about it), you'll have to ref...

Re: Introducing the first ever webDiplomacy Terminator Tournament!
About non-optimal bot moves, I once encounter a very special thing : only Hold orders.
It was in autumn 04 in this game : http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=251334
Maybe the bots learned also civil disorders ?

Re: Introducing the first ever webDiplomacy Terminator Tournament!
That sounds really interesting ! I'm in.
I just have one question : are the bots completely deterministic ?
If they are, I can just copy every move from a previous winning game (by winning I mean in which the human player won), and that ensures me the victory.

Re: Game Theory Games
Oh, nice surprise to see my name in the top of the ranking !
Seems I followed the same approach as Claesar and 90kicvesb. I owe the 1st place only to my lucky choice for the 1st pick.
