It does not take the entire 3 days for the next phase to occur; it will progress at some mysterious time that I have yet to see a pattern for. The resets are not consistent...

I agree - having a player miss a phase in a 2day game is *quite* frustrating to deal with...maybe a half turn length is more appropriate grace if it's a long one? Or "earning" would be great, but also probably annoying to implement.

No second chance for me because I was the replacement! Is there a way to give replacements a grace skip too?...
